Aim: Better stratification of patients with stage II and stage III colon cancer for risk of recurrence is urgently needed. The present study aimed to validate the prognostic value of CDX2 protein expression in colon cancer tissue by routine immunohistochemistry and to evaluate its performance in a head-to-head comparison with tandem mass spectrometry-based proteomics.
Patient And Methods: CDX2 protein expression was evaluated in 386 stage II and III primary colon cancers by immunohistochemical staining of tissue microarrays and by liquid chromatography with tandem mass spectrometry (LC-MS/MS) analysis using formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded tissue sections of a matched subset of 23 recurrent and 23 non-recurrent colon cancers.
Objective: Externalizing behavior (i.e., conduct problems, hyperactivity) and executive function (EF) problems in children and adolescents with type 1 diabetes (T1D) have been associated with worse diabetes-related and psychosocial outcomes but have not been examined in relationship to each other.

We report on four versions of the Type 1 Diabetes and Life (T1DAL) measure for people age 18-25, 26-45, 46-60, and over 60 years.
Methods: We first conducted qualitative interviews to guide measure creation, then piloted the draft measures.
Consumers expect perceptual constancy between multiple bites of the same food. In this study, we investigated how sweetness, creaminess, expected fullness and liking of chocolate coated rice waffles can be modified by bite-to-bite variation in chocolate thickness. 3D inkjet printing was used to accurately deposit the chocolate layers varying in thickness (0.

Methods: A systematic literature research (SLR) of all publications on JAK inhibitors (JAKi) treatment published until March 2019 using MEDLINE, EMBASE and the Cochrane Library. Efficacy and safety were assessed in randomised controlled trials (RCTs), integrating long-term extension periods additionally for safety evaluation.
Objectives: Janus kinase inhibitors (JAKi) have been approved for use in various immune-mediated inflammatory diseases. With five agents licensed, it was timely to summarise the current understanding of JAKi use based on a systematic literature review (SLR) on efficacy and safety.
Methods: Existing data were evaluated by a steering committee and subsequently reviewed by a 29 person expert committee leading to the formulation of a consensus statement that may assist the clinicians, patients and other stakeholders once the decision is made to commence a JAKi.
Health resource use and identification of related costs are two essential steps in health economics assessment. The elicited costs will be balanced with health outcome improvement and enable the comparison of different diagnostic procedures or therapeutic strategies from a health economic point of view. The cost typology can be disentangled in three main components, that is, direct cost related to health resource use, indirect costs related to productivity loss and sometimes intangible costs (costs related to pain and suffering).

This makes these cognitions and perceptions important factors for occupational health professionals to intervene upon in order to increase work participation. There is, however, no overview of interventions that influence these factors and are aimed at increasing work participation.

In clinical research, different uses of the term 'contextual factors' exist. This study explores the perspectives of researchers (including clinicians) and patients in defining 'contextual factor' and its related terminology, identifying such factors and accounting for them in trials across rheumatology.

Methods: Patients with rheumatoid arthritis, spondyloarthritis, and gout from 3 hospitals in different regions in The Netherlands completed the Health Literacy Questionnaire (HLQ). Hierarchical cluster analysis was used to identify patients' health literacy profiles based on 9 HLQ domains.
Objective: We aimed to delineate the phenotypic spectrum and long-term outcome of individuals with KCNB1 encephalopathy.
Methods: We collected genetic, clinical, electroencephalographic, and imaging data of individuals with KCNB1 pathogenic variants recruited through an international collaboration, with the support of the family association "KCNB1 France." Patients were classified as having developmental and epileptic encephalopathy (DEE) or developmental encephalopathy (DE).
Objectives: To explore the clinical and socio-demographic factors associated with Patient Acceptable Symptom Status (PASS) in Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA).
Methods: In a post-hoc analyses of a cross-sectional study, RA patients from 11 countries were included. PASS was assessed as acceptable/not acceptable status by the patient.
Objective: As part of European League against Rheumatism (EULAR)/European Musculoskeletal Conditions Surveillance and Information Network, 20 user-focused standards of care (SoCs) for rheumatoid arthritis (RA) addressing 16 domains of care were developed. This study aimed to explore gaps in implementation of these SoCs across Europe.
Methods: Two cross-sectional surveys on the importance, level of and barriers (patients only) to implementation of each SoC (0-10, 10 highest) were designed to be conducted among patients and rheumatologists in 50 European countries.
Climate change, limited water resources and expected population increases would require crops which contribute toward more resilient, more productive, more sustainable and climate-smart food systems. The cactus pear is a drought-resistant and sustainable food source to humans and livestock alike. Cactus mucilage has multiple applications in the food and packaging industry.

These include the following domains for all three core sets: "physical function," "pain," "spinal mobility," "spinal stiffness," and "patient's global assessment" (PGA). The core set for clinical record keeping further includes the domains "peripheral joints/entheses" and "acute phase reactants," and the core set for DC-ART further includes the domains "fatigue" and "spine radiographs/hip radiographs.
