Thermomechanical processing such as annealing is one of the main methods to tailor the mechanical properties of materials, however, much is unknown about the reorganization of dislocation structures deep inside macroscopic crystals that give rise to those changes. Here, we demonstrate the self-organization of dislocation structures upon high-temperature annealing in a mm-sized single crystal of aluminum. We map a large embedded 3D volume ([Formula: see text] [Formula: see text]m[Formula: see text]) of dislocation structures using dark field X-ray microscopy (DFXM), a diffraction-based imaging technique.

Drawing upon psychoanalysis, sociology, and group dynamics, the basic clinical model of group analysis was first described by Foulkes (1948, 1964) and Foulkes and Anthony (1964): Four men and four women, plus the conductor, sit around a small table and engage in free-floating conversation for a 90-minute session once a week. Groups might meet more often and be supplemented by combined or conjoint therapy (Maratos, 2000). Distractor-induced blindness (DIB) is elicited in a temporal selection task based on rapid serial visual presentation: Following the onset of a central cue (color change of fixation), a target in a global stream has to be detected (orientation change of tilted bars). Distractors are occasional target-like events presented prior to the onset of the cue. Depending on the number of distractor episodes, a frontal ERP negativity (FN) is evoked, and the detection rate of the forthcoming target is reduced.

Objective: Gut microbiota (GM) has previously been associated with alterations in rodent behaviour, and since the GM is affected by the diet, the composition of the diet may be an important factor contributing to behavioural changes. Interestingly, a magnesium restricted diet has been shown to induce anxiety and depressive-like behaviour in humans and rodents, and it could be suggested that magnesium deficiency may mediate the effects through an altered GM.

Methods: The present study therefore fed C57BL/6 mice with a standard diet or a magnesium deficient diet (MgD) for 6 weeks, followed by behavioural testing in the forced swim test (FST) to evaluate depressive-like behaviour.
