Objectives: to explore nurses' knowledge of universal health coverage (UHC) for inclusive and sustainable development of elderly care services.
Method: this was a cross-sectional survey. A convenience sample of 326 currently practicing enrolled nurses (EN) or registered nurses (RN) was recruited.
Introduction: Anticonvulsant hypersensitivity syndrome is a severe idiosyncratic reaction to antiepileptic drugs. We report a case of a woman with lamotrigine-associated hepatitis who recovered spontaneously with supportive treatment.
Case Report: A 43-year-old woman was being treated with oxcarbazepine for depression and was started on lamotrigine 2 weeks prior to her presentation.
Study Objective: We determine the incidence of clinically important bleeding in children with superwarfarin rodenticide ingestions not treated with gastrointestinal decontamination or prophylactic vitamin K.
Methods: We prospectively studied patients younger than 6 years of age who reported to our poison center with acute unintentional superwarfarin ingestions. Patients who received gastrointestinal decontamination or prophylactic vitamin K were excluded.
