Objectives: An outreach education service, Simulation Training Optimising Resuscitation for Kids (STORK) identified opportunities to use their course (Optimus PRIME) to understand and help optimise regional paediatric resuscitation. Our objective was to document challenges faced by healthcare providers in rural, remote, and regional (RRR) health centres in Queensland during a paediatric resuscitation course and ensure information reached stakeholders.
Methods: Using in situ simulation, participants were prompted to identify real-life challenges during paediatric resuscitation.

Methods And Results: The British Heart Foundation Data Science Centre conducted a series of online surveys and a virtual workshop to gather insights from stakeholders involved in cardiovascular imaging research about federated learning and synthetic data generation.

The objective of this research was to evaluate the amount of time that participants spend completing PROs via an electronic device in phase 2 and 3 clinical trials across several disease areas.
Methods: The electronic Clinical Outcome Assessment (eCOA) data were obtained from Johnson & Johnson clinical trials across various disease areas from 2016 to 2023.
In 1965, Hakim and Adams described 3 patients with normal pressure hydrocephalus who responded to treatment with a ventriculoatrial shunt. Afterward the adoption of shunt treatment without clear diagnostic criteria and surgical techniques resulted in poor outcomes with significant complications. The clinical practice guidelines for the diagnosis and treatment of idiopathic normal pressure hydrocephalus were first published by the Japanese Neurosurgical Society in 2004 and the international guidelines were published in 2005.

Each of these groups has unique clinical presentations and care needs that require the involvement of adult neurosurgeons for diagnosis and treatment. Patients in all 4 of these categories benefit from longitudinal care for monitoring of their symptoms or assessing response to treatment.

Methods: In a post-hoc analysis of a multicentre randomised control trial, we assessed associations between socioeconomic status and qualitative (stenosis, adverse plaque characteristics) and quantitative (total plaque, calcified plaque, non-calcified and low attenuation) CCTA plaque features and examined the interaction of socioeconomic status on cardiovascular outcomes.
Results: Socioeconomic status was available in 3948 participants of whom 1989 were randomised to CCTA and 1629 scans were suitable and available for quantitative plaque analysis.
Background: Previous studies have primarily focused on nucleos(t)ide reverse transcriptase inhibitor pharmacology in peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs) and erythrocytes via dried blood spots (DBS), but not other major blood cells.
Objectives: Our objectives were to describe and compare the concentrations of tenofovir-diphosphate (TFV-DP) and emtricitabine-triphosphate (FTC-TP) in DBS, PBMCs, neutrophils, and platelets in people with HIV (PWH) and people without HIV (PWOH).
Methods: DBS, PBMCs, neutrophils, and platelets were isolated from whole blood drawn from PWH and PWOH receiving tenofovir alafenamide and emtricitabine.
Genome-wide CRISPR screens are a powerful tool to interrogate and identify gene function in a wide variety of applications and cell types. CRISPR-Cas9 technology using pooled CRISPR single guide RNA (sgRNA) libraries enables genetic editing in bulk in a large population of cells of interest. DNA methyltransferase inhibitors (DNMTi) can augment immune responses to cancers, decreasing myeloid-derived suppressor cells (MDSCs) and increasing T lymphocyte responsiveness. Objectives: This study sought to evaluate the recovery of cardiovascular testing in Asia 1 year into the COVID-19 pandemic.
Methods: In this subanalysis of a worldwide survey on the impact of COVID-19 on cardiovascular diagnostic care in April 2020 and April 2021, recovery of testing volume in Asia was compared among subregions, World Bank income groups and imaging modalities.
The branching fraction ratios of B[over ¯]^{0}→D^{+}τ^{-}ν[over ¯]_{τ} and B[over ¯]^{0}→D^{*+}τ^{-}ν[over ¯]_{τ} decays are measured with respect to their muonic counterparts, using a data sample corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 2.0 fb^{-1} collected by the LHCb experiment in proton-proton collisions at sqrt[s]=13 TeV. The reconstructed final states are formed by combining D^{+} mesons with τ^{-}→μ^{-}ν[over ¯]_{μ}ν_{τ} candidates, where the D^{+} is reconstructed via the D^{+}→K^{-}π^{+}π^{+} decay.

Neutral and volatile PFAS, used in firefighting foams and non-stick coatings, are precursors of perfluorinated acids such as perfluorooctanesulfonic acid (PFOS) and perfluorooctanoic acid (PFOA) and necessitate effective preconcentration methods for isolation from aqueous and gaseous phases.
Results: In this work, a robust quantitative method was rigorously optimized and validated to achieve effective preconcentration and quantification of neutral volatile PFAS, including fluorotelomer alcohols (FTOHs), perfluorooctanesulfonamides (FOSAs), and a perfluorooctanesulfonamido-ethanol (FOSE).
