Catalytically-promoted analyte derivatization inside a gas chromatographic inlet.

Reported here is a preliminary assessment of the feasibility of catalyzing on-line derivatization reactions inside the inlet (i.e., the injection port) of a gas chromatograph (GC) with solid heterogeneous catalysts.
