In the present study, the anticancer effect of goniothalamin on human breast cancer cell line SK-BR-3 was investigated. The results showed that goniothalamin induced nuclear condensation, DNA fragmentation, apoptotic bodies and mitochondrial dysfunction as determined by JC-1 staining.
