Dosimetry and defect analysis of aluminum-doped zinc oxide after irradiation with Sr/Y.

This study aims to perform dosimetry and defect analysis of different Al concentrations in AZO after being irradiated for 91 days using Sr/Y. Particle interaction was also simulated using MCNPX to confirm the effect of Al addition on the radiation dose received. AZO films were prepared using the sol-gel spin coating method with Al concentrations ranging from 0 wt%, 3 wt%, 6 wt%, and 9 wt%, while the structure was characterized with XRD and FTIR.

Predict Score: A New Biological and Clinical Tool to Help Predict Risk of Intensive Care Transfer for COVID-19 Patients.

Background: The COVID-19 crisis has strained world health care systems. This study aimed to develop an innovative prediction score using clinical and biological parameters (PREDICT score) to anticipate the need of intensive care of COVID-19 patients already hospitalized in standard medical units.

Methods: PREDICT score was based on a training cohort and a validation cohort retrospectively recruited in 2020 in the Marseille University Hospital.
