Aim: To assess safety and efficiency of the Cheshire & Merseyside Collaborative, the largest trainee led on-call service in the UK, based on discrepancy rates and time taken to issue reports.
Materials & Methods: All studies reported by the collaborative in a 4-week period were evaluated for discrepancy and the time taken to issue a report. These figures were compared against the Royal College of Radiologists (RCR) guidelines and a recent national audit of discrepancy rates.
Objective To examine the association between men's conformity to masculine norms and depression. Design Cross-sectional analysis. Setting University family practice clinic in Vancouver, BC.

We report the case of a 43 year old female patient, who underwent a left groin dissection 5 years after her original diagnosis of a 3.8mm Breslow thickness malignant melanoma of her left leg, where the appearance of a post-operative computed tomography (CT) scan caused diagnostic misunderstanding. This case demonstrates the importance of providing the radiologists with accurate information regarding surgical procedures prior to imaging such that misinterpretations of this kind can be avoided.

Ovariectomized (OVX) female rats were injected with estradiol benzoate (0.3 microg/0.

This study was designed to determine whether these inconsistencies were due to dose-dependent effects of estradiol on different memory processes. Ovariectomized female rats were injected daily with estradiol benzoate (EB; 0.

Ovariectomized female rats were injected daily with either 10 microg of estradiol benzoate or sesame oil vehicle approximately 4 h prior to testing. In Experiment 1, treatment with estradiol disrupted learning on the spatial working-reference memory task by increasing the number of reference memory errors to reach criterion.

Females were randomly assigned to "pregnant", "pregnant"+estradiol benzoate (EB), and control groups. Both the "pregnant" and "pregnant"+EB groups received daily injections of the hormones estradiol and progesterone to simulate the 23-day gestational period in the rat.

Imaging techniques have improved the accuracy of staging but cannot determine if nodal enlargement is due to reactive changes or malignant involvement. We assessed the diagnostic performance of magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) in detecting metastatic disease within the neck in oral cancer patients.

In both patients some of the strictures were infiltrated by small bowel adenocarcinoma.
