Off-label hypomethylating agents and venetoclax (HMA/VEN) are often used for relapsed and refractory (R/R) AML patients. However, predictors of outcome are elusive. The objective of the current retrospective observational multicenter study of 240 adult patients (median age 68.

This is usually assessed using two-dimensional radiographs. The purpose of this study was to use a three-dimensional digital imaging measurement method to provide information on palatal bone volume and bone thickness and to make recommendations on the optimal and safe insertion site and angle for palatal mini-implants.

Methods: Twenty students planned implant positions with CDX which were then placed in a model using printed drill templates in the sense of FG implantation (group 1) and HG implantation (group 2).
Background: Postoperative resorption of hard and soft tissues occurs as a consequence of tooth extraction. The Benex-Control extractor allows minimally invasive extraction of the tooth without causing pronounced iatrogenic trauma. The aim of this study was to verify whether the resorption of the tissues after extraction can be reduced by using the Benex system compared to the conventional extraction method.

It is often detected late, when patients experience pain or instability. Early monitoring could enable timely intervention, preventing implant failure and joint degeneration.

Currently, no high-resolution, three-dimensional method of directly measuring these biomechanical processes in the peri-implant bone is available. The aim of this study was to measure the influence of different implant materials on stress distribution in the peri-implant bone.

Since the final gap is also influenced by the luting techniques and materials applied, this study analyzed the accuracy of the fit of single-tooth zirconia copings before and after cementation using different luting materials. Forty plaster dies with a corresponding zirconia coping were manufactured based on a single tooth chamfer preparation.

Materials And Methods: Nineteen patients were treated with 20 allografts: 11 CCBB, 9 PBB; 10 in the maxilla and 10 in the mandible. Clinical treatment history and cone beam computed tomography scans before surgery (t), directly after graft surgery (t) and after 6 months of healing prior to implant insertion (t) were evaluated using a three-dimensional evaluation software for absolute bone volume, stability as well as vertical and horizontal bone gain.
Patients with acute myeloid leukemia (AML) who experience relapse following allogeneic hematopoietic cell transplantation (alloHCT) face unfavorable outcomes regardless of the chosen relapse treatment. Early detection of relapse at the molecular level by measurable residual disease (MRD) assessment enables timely intervention, which may prevent hematological recurrence of the disease. It remains unclear whether molecular MRD assessment can detect MRD before impending relapse and, if so, how long in advance.

This study investigates the influence of scanbody geometry and the method of superimposing in CAD software when determining 3D implant position. A standardized titanium model with three bone-level implants was digitized to create reference STL files, and 10 intraoral scans were performed on Medentika and NT-Trading scanbodies.

Methods: The clinical coding electronic database was used to identify patients aged 40 years and over who were diagnosed with appendicitis from September 2010 to September 2022. Patients were included if they were managed operatively.
Backgrounds: The adenoma-carcinoma and serrated pathways offer a window of opportunity for the removal of pre-malignant polyps and prevention of colorectal cancer (CRC) through the use of colonoscopy. The aim of this study was to investigate variation in polyp incidence in different age groups, gender and indications for undertaking colonoscopy. We also address histological types of polyps found and where in the bowel they are located.

The aim of this study was quantitative assessment of artefacts in 3D STL models from cone beam CT (CBCT) and multislice CT (MSCT) using different scanning protocols and titanium-zirconium (Ti-Zr) and zirconium (ZrO) implant materials.
Methods: Three ZrO and three Ti-Zr implants were respectively placed in the mandibles of two fresh human specimens.
Donor lymphocyte infusions (DLIs) can directly target leukemic cells through a graft-versus-leukemia effect and play a key role in the prevention and management of relapse after allogeneic hematopoietic cell transplantation (alloHCT). Predictors of response to DLIs are not well established. We evaluated measurable residual disease (MRD) before, 30 and 90 days after DLI treatment as biomarkers of response.

Recently, different virus-like particles (VLPs) have been introduced as promising vectors for the delivery of CRISPR/Cas genome editing components. Here, we characterized and directly compared three different types of retrovirus-based (R) VLPs, two derived from the γ-retrovirus murine leukemia virus (gRVLPs and "enhanced" egRVLPs) and one from the lentivirus human immunodeficiency virus, HIV (LVLPs).

Despite this, few centres routinely evaluate the colon endoscopically following an episode of appendicitis in these patients. Our aim was to investigate the incidence of colorectal neoplasm in patients aged 40 years and over who underwent screening colonoscopy following acute appendicitis.

Materials And Methods: In 31 probands, tooth color was determined on teeth 11, 13, and 16.
Purpose: To evaluate intraoral scanners, scannable impression materials, and conventional methods for impression-taking with regard to precision and accuracy.
Materials And Methods: Ten impressions per technique were initially taken from a cobalt-chromium (Co-Cr) master model (chamfer preparation for the maxillary right first molar) for fabricating Co-Cr crown copings. The test specimens, their respective metal master model, and the plaster casts from the conventional impressions were then digitized with the light-optical Atos Triple Scanner.
The aim of this study was to compare the trueness of complete- and partial-arch impressions obtained using conventional impression materials and intraoral scanners in vivo. Full-arch impressions were taken using polyether and polyvinylsiloxane. Gypsum casts were digitized using a laboratory scanner (IM, AF).
