Background: The growing care demand for frail older adults and those at risk of frailty in primary health care (PHC) requires professionals trained in the subject to promote adequate care. This study aimed to analyze the self-reported, theoretical and practical knowledge of PHC professionals about the frailty syndrome.
Methods: This is an observational cross-sectional study with a sample of 485 Brazilian health professionals (bachelor's degree) working in PHC with older adults.
