Minoxidil nanoliposomes as a hair growth stimulator and a scalp disinfectant.

Hair loss (alopecia) continues to be an issue for both sexes. There are multiple ways to reduce ‎the effects of alopecia, one of which is topical minoxidil (MXD). This study aimed to test the ‎effects of minoxidil nanoliposomes (MXD-NLs) on the hair of mice, compared with free MXD and to examine the disinfectant ability of MXD-NLs toward scalp bacteria.
