Background: Takotsubo syndrome (TTS) is characterized by transient abnormalities of myocardial contractility. Noninvasive tests are currently being sought to differentiate TTS from acute coronary syndrome (ACS).

The Aim Of The Study: To evaluate the prevalence of TTS and echocardiographic parameters to distinguish apical TTS from acute anterior wall infarction.
