Cadmium (Cd) has become a major environmental concern, adversely affecting soil quality and crop productivity. Cd pollution disrupts soil nutrient cycling, particularly phosphorus (P), which is crucial for plant growth. In this study, we conducted a meta-analysis to assess the impact of Cd on soil phosphorus availability, followed by pot experiments using maize (Zea mays) to investigate the effects of varying Cd concentrations (0, 0.

Covalent adaptable networks (CANs), a novel class of crosslinked polymers with dynamic covalent bonds, have gained significant attention for combining the durability of thermosets with the reprocessability of thermoplastics, making them promising for emerging applications. Here, we report the first example of poly[2]rotaxane-type covalent adaptable networks (CANs), in which oligo[2]rotaxane backbones characterized by densely packed mechanical bonds, are cross-linked through dynamic C-N bonds. The oligo[2]rotaxane backbones could guarantee the mechanical properties of the CANs.

An emerging approach for green disinfection lies at photocatalysis, which levers the locally generated superoxide radical (·O) for neutralization. However, the spin-forbidden feature of O hinders the photocatalytic generation of active ·O, and thus greatly limited the disinfection efficiency, especially for real groundwater with a low dissolved oxygen (DO) concentration.

Passivators can reduce the bioavailability and mobility of heavy metals by forming stable complexes or precipitates, and achieve the remediation of heavy metal-polluted soil. Organic carbon is an important parameter reflecting soil quality and health. Organic carbon transformation process plays a decisive role in atmospheric chemistry and global carbon cycling, and is affected by land use ways, agronomic measures, and restoration activities.

Based on the excellent photoelectric performance of metal halide perovskite materials, perovskite light-emitting diodes (PeLEDs) have high photoelectric conversion efficiency, adjustable emission spectra, and excellent charge transfer characteristics, demonstrating great prospects as next-generation light sources. Despite their potential, the solubility of perovskite in photoresist presents a hurdle for conventional micro/nano processing techniques, resulting in device sizes typically exceeding 50 μm.

Polyrotaxanes (PRs) have attracted significant research attention due to their unique topological structures and high degrees of conformational freedom. Herein, we take advantage of an oligo[2]rotaxane to construct a novel class of dynamically cross-linked rotaxane network (DCRN) mediated by metal-coordination. The oligo[2]rotaxane skeleton offers several distinct advantages: In addition to retaining the merits of traditional polymer backbones, the ordered intramolecular motion of the [2]rotaxane motifs introduced dangling chains into the network, thereby enhancing the stretchability of the DCRN.

However, current wrinkle modulation methods primarily rely on network rearrangement, causing bottlenecks in in situ wrinkle regeneration. Herein, we report a dually cross-linked network wherein [2]rotaxane cross-link can dissipate stress within the wrinkles through its sliding motion without disrupting the network, and quadruple H-bonding cross-link comparatively highlight the advantages of [2]rotaxane modulation.

The present meta-analysis aimed to comprehensively quantify its prognostic significance across a wider spectrum of malignancies and to provide an updated synthesis of evidence that could refine prognostic models. To achieve this aim, multiple databases were carefully searched for lncRNA HOXA-AS2-related articles published in the past 10 years.

N6-methyladenosine (m6A) is mediated by a variety of readers and participates in important regulatory roles in PC. Based on TCGA_PAAD, ICGC_AU_PAAD, ICGC_CA_PAAD, GSE28735 and GSE62452 datasets, We mapped the multi-omics changes of m6A readers in PC and found that m6A readers, especially IGF2BP family genes, had specific changes and were significantly associated with poor prognosis.

The outcome of pancreatic adenocarcinoma (PAAD) patients is poor, given resistance to gemcitabine. Long noncoding RNA (lncRNA) has been implicated in the carcinogenesis of pancreatic cancer; however, its function and mechanism in PAAD resistance to gemcitabine (GEM) are yet unknown. Herein, we demonstrate that lncRNA DSCR9 is significantly reduced in PAAD and .

Four types of RNA modification (namely m6A, m1A, APA and A-to-I) could be catalyzed by distinct enzymatic compounds ("writers"), mediating numerous epigenetic events in carcinogenesis and immunomodulation. We aim to investigate the interplay mechanism of these writers in immunogenomic features and molecular biological characteristics in PC.

Previous studies have revealed that oxidative stress, synaptic toxicity, autophagy, and neuroinflammation play crucial roles in the progress of AD, however, its pathogenesis is still unclear. Recent researches have indicated that ferroptosis, an iron-dependent programmed cell death, might be involved in the pathogenesis of AD.

Here, we propose interface engineering to induce an internal electric field (IEF) in leaf-like TiCTx/TiO based on the work function (Φ) theory, which enhances photocatalytic sterilization performance by steering interface charge kinetics. Density functional theory (DFT) calculations and in situ irradiation X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (ISI-XPS) results show that photogenerated charge carriers can be directionally separated by the IEF.
