Background: Stroke is a neurological condition characterized by high rates of disability and mortality. Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) is widely used to examine the mechanisms of acupuncture in stroke treatment.
Purpose: This review provides neuroimaging evidence for the efficacy of acupuncture in treating stroke using MRI.
The long persistent luminescence (LPL) phenomenon in the water environment presents us with a broad blueprint to struggle for a new generation of optical materials. However, the realization of water-resistant LPL remains a formidable challenge due to severe quenching of triplet excitons inflowing media. Here, an electron donor-acceptor system is designed based on a BO host and carbon dot (CD) guest, which exhibits deep-blue LPL with a lasting time of about 21 s to the naked eye.

However, the specific bioactive compounds, pharmacological targets, and underlying mechanisms remain elusive. This study aims to find the shared bioactive ingredients among these three formulas, uncover the molecular pathways they regulate, and identify potential therapeutic targets for ARHL.

Among them, the female reproductive tract (FRT) also has a specific microbiota that maintains the body's health and dynamic balance, especially in the reproductive aspect. When the FRT ecosystem is dysregulated, changes in immune and metabolic signals can lead to pathological and physiological changes such as chronic inflammation, epithelial barrier disruption, changes in cell proliferation and apoptosis, and dysregulation of angiogenesis and metabolism, thereby causing disruption of the female endocrine system.

However, using simple molecules with crystalline RTP to construct SA with aqueous phase RTP is hardly possible from the standpoint of forces. The reason lies in that the transition from crystal to SA involves a structure transformation from highly stable to more dynamic state, leading to increased non-radiative deactivation pathways and silent RTP signal.

Psychological resilience has been shown to buffer shocks and stresses from the disease. Therefore, this study investigates the relationship between family functioning and psychological resilience in prostate cancer patients and the mediating role of self-efficacy between family functioning and psychological resilience to provide a relevant theoretical basis for improving patients' psychological status by providing relevant theoretical basis.

Aims to investigate the relationship between nutritional biochemical indexes and hospitalization outcomes of COVID-19 patients, 132 continuous patients with COVID-19 from December 2022 to January 2023 in Lishui hospital were retrospectively analyzed, and the nutritional biochemical indexes in peripheral blood, such as total protein, albumin, calcium, phosphorus, and magnesium, were detected. Meanwhile, the levels of several cytokines and PBMC subtypes (CD4, CD3, CD8, NK and B cells) were detected too. The Spearman correlation analysis, one-way ANOVA and multivariate logit regression were conducted.

Methods: Articles and reviews related to POI genes published between 1990 and 2022 were retrieved from the Web of Science core collection (WoSCC) for the total bibliometric analysis. Tools were analyzed for publication, country, institution, journal, authors, reference, keywords, subject categories, funding agencies, and research hotspots using a bibliometric online analysis platform, Bibliographic Co-occurrence Matrix Builder (BICOMB), CiteSpace V, and VOSviewer.
Introduction: Dysbiosis of the intestinal microbiome and related metabolites have been observed in chronic kidney disease, yet their roles in idiopathic membranous nephropathy (IMN) are poorly understood.
Methods: In this study, we describe the variation of intestinal bacteria and fecal metabolites in patients with IMN in Chinese population. Stool samples were collected from 41 IMN patients at the beginning of diagnosis confirmation and 41 gender- and age-matched healthy control (HC).

Objective: Diminished ovarian reserve (DOR) refers to the decreased number and quality of oocytes in the ovary. Acupuncture and moxibustion has a certain effect on DOR; however, the number of studies and reports of research evidence are limited. This study aimed to conduct a scoping review of the clinical research status of acupuncture and moxibustion for treating patients with DOR.

However, employing simple monomers to construct the SBCPs via this technology is almost impossible because the low spontaneous nucleation barrier of simple molecules prevents the formation of kinetic states. Here, with the help of confinement from layered double hydroxide (LDH), various simple monomers successfully form living supramolecular co-assemblies (LSCA).

However, planar achiral molecules still face the challenge of forming HSA due to the lack of driving force for twisted stacking, which is a prerequisite for homochirality. Here, with the benefit of the formation of 2D intercalated layered double hydroxide (LDH, host-guest nanomaterials) in vortex motion, planar achiral guest molecules can form the chiral units with spatially asymmetrical structure in the confinement space of LDH.

We previously found that 7-hydroxycoumarin-β-D-glucuronide (7-HCG) was one of metabolites of skimmin and highly enriched in the kidneys and maintained a high blood concentration in skimmin-treated rats. Therefore, we investigated whether 7-HCG has a protective effect on cisplatin-induced acute kidney injury.

However, due to the only path of exciton transfer, it is almost impossible to obtain TDPC for chromophores with a single emission center. Theoretically, in inorganic-organic composites, the exciton transfer of organic chromophores depends on the inorganic structure.

In-situ SiO nanoparticles (NPs) and polyvinyl alcohol/sodium alginate (PVA/NaAlg) are used to simulate the rigid "bricks" and soft "mortar" compositions of nacre, respectively. The nacre-like mineralized (PVA/CaAlg/SiO) membrane showed a higher tensile strength of 4.

However, a simple achiral monomer faces the challenge of chiral stacking with the absence of a chiral resource. The difficulty is that simple achiral monomer lacks steric repulsion to provide asymmetry during hierarchical assembly, which is a prerequisite for chiral stacking with an angle.

However, although great progress has been made in the preparation of CDs, the detailed exploration of their photoluminescence (PL) mechanism is still under debate due to their complex structures and surface functionalities. Here, we proposed a single change in the pH of the synthesis condition, which had no effect on the CDs intrinsic core states and avoided the mutual influence of multiple PL origins.

Objective: To explore the mechanism of electroacupuncture stimulation of the hand-taiyin meridian in regulating the molecular network of rats with cerebral ischemia-reperfusion injury based on transcriptomics.
Methods: Male SD rats were randomly divided into sham operation group, model group, and electroacupuncture (EA) group. Middle cerebral artery embolization/reperfusion injury (MCAO/R) was used to establish the model group and EA group.
Generally, the high efficiency of solution-processable perovskite solar cells (PSCs) comes at the expense of using expensive organic matters as a hole-transport material (HTM). Although intense efforts have tried to use commercially available and low-cost macrocyclic molecules as HTM candidates, they still face two enormous challenges: poor solubility and inherent instability. Here, solvothermal treatment for old and insoluble HTMs (phthalocyanine (Pc) and its derivatives) has been proposed, which is unusual due to the occurrence of solubilization for insoluble precursors induced by the carbonization of the dissolved part.
