The present work reveals a new metal-catalyzed synthetic reaction involving 1,2,3-benzotriazinones with carbonyl sulfoxonium ylide and iodonium ylide, resulting in divergent products. Within this catalytic system, 3-phenylbenzo[][1,2,3]triazin-4(3)-one derivatives undergo C-H alkylation processes facilitated by a Cp*Rh(III) catalyst when combined with a carbonyl sulfoxonium ylide. On the other hand, when iodonium ylide substrates are used, they undergo an alkenylation reaction facilitated by a Cp*Ir(III) catalyst.

A metal-free cascade of α-acyloxylation/carboxamidation of I/S-ylides, carboxylic acids, and isonitriles via a Passerini-like multicomponent reaction is reported. Unexpectedly, [3 + 1+1] cyclization involving I/S-ylides and two molecules of ethyl isocyanoacetate was observed. The strategy allows for the synthesis of unsymmetrical α,α-disubstituted ketones and functionalized pyrroles with up to 99% yield and wide substrate compatibility.

Recent advances in multi-modal algorithms have driven and been driven by the increasing availability of large image-text datasets, leading to significant strides in various fields, including computational pathology. However, in most existing medical image-text datasets, the text typically provides high-level summaries that may not sufficiently describe sub-tile regions within a large pathology image. For example, an image might cover an extensive tissue area containing cancerous and healthy regions, but the accompanying text might only specify that this image is a cancer slide, lacking the nuanced details needed for in-depth analysis.

A practical strategy for the construction of diverse phosphonyl and thiofunctionalized sulfoxonium ylides via controllable monofunctionalization of hybrid I/S ylides is presented. This process allows efficient P-H insertion of I/S ylides under Cu catalysis, enabling the synthesis of phosphonyl sulfoxonium ylides, whereas reaction with sulfur-containing reagents including AgSCF, KSC(S)OR, and KSCN under mild conditions resulted in α-trifluoromethylthiolation, dithiocarbanation, and thiocyanation of sulfoxonium ylides accordingly. Of note, wide substrate compatibility (108 examples), excellent efficiency (up to 99% yield), gram-scale experiments, and various product derivatizations highlight the synthetic utility of this protocol.

For the dual peg-in-hole compliance assembly task of upper and lower double-hole structural micro-devices, a skill-learning method is proposed. This method combines offline training in a simulation space and online training in a realistic space. In this paper, a dual peg-in-hole model is built according to the results of a force analysis, and contact-point searching methods are provided for calculating the contact force.

For assembly of trans-scale micro-device capsule fill tube assemblies (CFTA) for inertial confinement fusion (ICF) targets, a high-precision space assembly approach based on micro-vision is proposed in this paper. The approach consists of three modules: (i) a posture alignment module based on a multi-vision monitoring model that is designed to align two trans-scale micro-parts in 5DOF while one micro-part is in ten microns and the other one is in hundreds of microns; (ii) an insertion depth control module based on a proposed local deformation detection method to control micro-part insertion depth; (iii) a glue mass control module based on simulation research that is designed to control glue mass quantitatively and to bond micro-parts together. A series of experiments were conducted and experimental results reveal that attitude alignment control error is less than ±0.

Ample evidence have demonstrated that long noncoding RNAs small nucleolus RNA host gene 14 (SNHG14) serves as a master regulator in various cancers. However, the exact mechanism of SNHG14 in colorectal cancer (CRC) remains unknown. In the present study, we concentrate on the potential function of SNHG14 in the pathogenesis of CRC.

Brucellosis (Brucella bovis) in sika deer ( Cervus nippon ) can cause enormous losses to stag breeding, especially in areas in which stag breeding has become an important industry. It also poses a threat to humans because it is a zoonotic disease. Use of the loop-mediated isothermal amplification (LAMP) assay has been poorly described in the diagnosis of brucellosis in deer.
