Article Synopsis
  • Rheumatoid arthritis (RA) is an autoimmune disorder that leads to inflammation, pain, and damage in joints, and this study investigates the effects of Jingfang Granule (JFG), a traditional Chinese medicine, as a treatment.
  • The research involved creating a rat model of RA and administering either JFG or a standard drug, measuring outcomes like foot swelling and various inflammatory markers to evaluate the treatment's efficacy.
  • Results showed that JFG significantly reduced RA symptoms and levels of pro-inflammatory cytokines by targeting specific pathways in the body, suggesting it may be an effective therapeutic option for RA.

This study aims to investigate the mechanism of Mailuo Shutong Pills(MLST) on posterior limb muscle swelling caused by femoral fracture(SCFF) through network pharmacology and animal experiments. The plasma components of MLST were analyzed by LC-MS, and the target and signal pathway of SCFF were predicted by network pharmacology and verified by molecular docking. SCFF model rats were established through animal experiments, and different doses of MLST were administered to detect the degree of limb swelling.

Article Synopsis
  • This study investigates the combined treatment of Biyuan Tongqiao Granules and Triamcinolone Acetonide Nasal Spray for chronic rhinosinusitis (CRS), utilizing a randomized controlled trial that included 9 studies with 1,145 participants.
  • The results showed that the combination therapy significantly improved the effective rate of treatment and decreased the nasal mucociliary transport time compared to the spray alone, with no notable difference in adverse effects between the treatment groups.
  • Additionally, the analysis revealed that while the combination therapy was more expensive, it provided a better cost-effectiveness in improving treatment outcomes for CRS, influencing factors such as treatment duration and drug pricing.
