Background Although novel oral anticoagulants have been applied into clinical practice, warfarin remains the only approved oral anticoagulant for heart valve replacement. Currently, an increasing number of Chinese clinical pharmacists provide patients with warfarin education. However, little research to date has been carried out to evaluate the relationship between warfarin knowledge level and anticoagulation control among patients with heart valve replacement.

Methods: The following eight databases were searched from the establishment to September 30, 2019, for randomized controlled trials (RCTs): PubMed, Embase, Cochrane Library, Web of Science, China National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI), the Chinese BioMedical database (CBM), Chinese Scientific Journal Database (VIP), and the Wanfang database. The quality of evidence was estimated by the Grading of Recommendations Assessment, Development, and Evaluation (GRADE).
Simple, small organic molecules containing nitrogen and oxygen atoms in their structures have been disclosed to catalyze transition-metal-free C-H arylation of unactivated arenes with aryl iodides in the presence of BuOK. In this article, an optimized catalytically active molecule, (2-(methylamino)phenyl)methanol, was designed. A broad range of aryl iodides could be converted into the corresponding arylated products at 100 °C over 24 h with good to excellent yields.

However, during the fabrication of these 2D materials with atomic thickness, formation of wrinkles or folds is unavoidable to enable their stable existence. Meaningfully, it is found that wrinkled structures simultaneously impose positive changes on the 2D materials.

Here, we show evidence that the VASA-like germline RNA helicase GLH-1 couples distinct steps of its ATPase hydrolysis cycle to control the formation and disassembly of P granules. In addition, we found that the phenylalanine-glycine-glycine repeats in GLH-1 promote its localization at the perinucleus.

Here we investigate whether fungus-secreted laccase can be used as a green catalyst to eliminate a representative estrogen, 17β-estradiol (E2). A white-rot fungus Trametes hirsuta La-7 with high laccase-productivity, was isolated from pig manure-contaminated soil.

Oral-gut microbiome axis is a crucial link in human health and disease, but few researches indicated the relationship between oral microorganisms and SLE. This study mainly explored the composition and changes of oral microorganisms in SLE patients with different stages, clinical manifestations and biomarkers.

However, their major limitation is their poor film mobility and short diffusion length (<250 nm). This has restricted the thickness of QD film to ∼200-300 nm due to the restriction that the diffusion length imposes on film thickness in order to keep efficient charge collection.

Results: Here, we built FluPhenotype, a one-stop platform to rapidly determinate the phenotypes of the influenza A viruses.
The and genotypes are associated with anticoagulation control and the clinical events in warfarin therapy. However, the clinical utility of gene-based warfarin dosing (GBWD) is controversial. We compared the anticoagulation control and clinical events related to warfarin with GBWD to those with clinically fixed dosing (CFD).

Exosomes were extracted from the serum of patients with precancerous lesions and normal controls. Based on our previous sequencing results, quantitative real time-PCR was used to detect differentially expressed LncRNAs.

Two-dimensional (2D) MoC, as a new member of transition metal carbides, has many intriguing properties and potential applications in superconductors and electronic devices. The thermal stability of 2D materials is essential for the performance of the related devices, especially the ones with a vertical heterostructure. However, rare reports have demonstrated the thermal stability of MoC and the effects of thermal stability on its performance.

Considering the tailored composition and disordered configuration, these high-entropy materials may arouse functional synergism towards electrocatalysis. Here, a new strategy for preparing high-entropy metal phosphides (HEMPs) was developed by a eutectic solvent method.

Rationale: Heart-valve replacement is one of the main surgical methods for various heart-valve diseases. Warfarin is the only oral anticoagulant used for thrombosis prevention after heart-valve replacement. However, warfarin has a narrow therapeutic window, large differences in efficacy between individuals, and can be affected by drugs, food and disease status.

Lead sulfide quantum dots (QDs) have been widely used for various optoelectronic devices due to their high absorption coefficient and tunable bandgap. However, the low mobility of QD films results in poor charge collection and device performance. By combining QDs with graphene into hybrid graphene/QD photodetectors, photocarriers from QDs are transferred to graphene, improving charge collection and transport, drastically increasing the photoresponsivity.

Solar-driven nitrogen fixation remains a significant challenge. Graphitic carbon nitride (g-CN) is considered as a promising visible light photocatalyst. However, the photocatalytic performance of g-CN is unsatisfactory because of the random transfer of charge carriers in the plane and the low activation efficiency of the reactants.
