Liver cancer manifests as a profoundly heterogeneous malignancy, posing significant challenges in terms of both therapeutic intervention and prognostic evaluation. Given that the liver is the largest metabolic organ, a prognostic risk model grounded in single-cell transcriptome analysis and a metabolic perspective can facilitate precise prevention and treatment strategies for liver cancer. Hence, we identified 11 cell types in a scRNA-seq profile comprising 105,829 cells and found that the metabolic activity of malignant cells increased significantly.

Methods: One hundred and ten patients who underwent completed laparoscopic total gastrectomy for gastric cancer between September 2018 and June 2022 were retrospectively collected and classified into two groups (65 CLS and 45 RLS) according to different operation approach.
Background: In rectal cancer surgery, recent studies have found associations between clinical factors, especially pelvic parameters, and surgical difficulty; however, their findings are inconsistent because the studies use different criteria. This study aimed to evaluate common clinical factors that influence the operative time for the laparoscopic anterior resection of low and middle rectal cancer.

The objective was to explore the relationship between the levels of serum and urinary free light chains (FLCs) during the progression of renal damage in multiple myeloma (MM) patients. We examined 91 cases of MM patients, detected levels of serum FLCs (sFLCs), urinary FLCs (uFLCs), and serum creatinine at the same time, and then compared sFLC and uFLC levels during normal and abnormal serum creatinine phases. Among the 91 MM patients, 22 patients had abnormal serum creatinine levels (no uremia), and 69 patients had normal serum creatinine levels.
