Acylation represents a pivotal biochemical process that is instrumental in the modification of secondary metabolites throughout the growth and developmental stages of plants. The BAHD acyltransferase family within the plant kingdom predominantly utilizes coenzyme A thioester as the acyl donor, while employing alcohol or amine compounds as the acceptor substrates to facilitate acylation reactions. Using bioinformatics approaches, the gene family members in the genome of () were identified and characterized including gene structure, conserved motifs, -acting elements, and potential gene functions.

Understanding the dynamic changes of vegetation during drought is of great significance for agricultural and ecological management and climate change adaptation. The relations between vegetation and drought have been widely investigated, but how vegetation loss and restoration in response to drought remains unclear.

Lithium-sulfur (Li-S) batteries with high theoretical capacity and abundant sulfur resources are potential energy storage systems. Nevertheless, there are several roadblocks that strongly limit the commercial application of Li-S batteries, including the insulating nature of sulfur and LiS, large volume change and the shuttle effect of lithium polysulfides. Herein, a three-dimensional carbon foam (CF) decorated with SnO (SnO/CF) is fabricated by the simple electrodeposition and used as a sulfur host to resolve the bottleneck issues in Li-S batteries.
