Hybrid repair is a valuable alternative treatment for aortic arch disease in Marfan syndrome patients after proximal aorta replacement. This study aimed to investigate the long-term durability of this technique with the use of parallel stent-grafts and evaluate strategies to prevent abdominal aortic dilation. One Marfan syndrome patient who underwent hybrid aortic repair with parallel stent-grafts for arch dissection after the Bentall procedure was admitted.

Objectives: The primary objective of this research was to evaluate the safety and feasibility of an innovative double-branched stent graft system employing four-stage deployment technology for aortic arch repair in porcine models.
Methods: The double-branched stent graft system consisted of a proximal polyester artificial blood vessel, the main and double-branched stent grafts and a delivery system. We utilized 12 healthy pigs as experimental animals (6 per group).
Myocardial ischemia-reperfusion (I/R) injury is one of main pathological manifestations of cardiovascular outcomes related to NLRP3 inflammasome-mediated pyroptosis pathway. Loganin is an iridoid glycoside extracted from traditional Chinese medicines, which has multiple activities. However, the roles and mechanism of loganin in myocardial I/R injury remain largely unknown.

A wideband GHz electric field (E-field) sensor for electromagnetic pulse (EMP) signal measurement was proposed in this paper. An optical fiber transmission link was adopted in the design in order to implement high-voltage isolation and reduce electromagnetic interference during transmission.
