Purpose: To evaluate the ability of participants of a falls prevention programme to set and achieve goals.

Methods: The study used a prospective longitudinal design and a mixed-methods approach to data collection. Study participants were (1) 220 older adults participating in a 15-week combined exercise and education falls prevention programme and (2) 9 practitioners (3 home-care nurses, 5 community workers, and an exercise physiologist) involved in delivering the programme.

In Victoria, despite strong policy support, e-care planning and coordination is poorly developed. The action research project discussed here was developed to overcome organisational and worker-level barriers to change. The project outcomes highlighted the need for work on the building blocks of e-care coordination that enhance workers' knowledge and skills, and provide permission and support for appropriate collaborative system and services coordination practices.

Issue Addressed: This project explored the literature in which key concepts in primary health care and health promotion are overtly applied to the problem of climate change. This paper contains a discussion of the literature relevant to health promotion principles and intervention strategies for addressing climate change mitigation and adaptation in the primary health care sector. The concept of primary health care is that used by the World Health Organization, based on the Declaration of Alma Ata and often referred to as comprehensive primary health care to differentiate it from primary medical care.

The purpose of this article is to investigate current evidence for the management of deep vein thrombosis (DVT) in the lymphoedematous limb in order to develop guidelines for the management of this patient group. Starting with a review of the literature related to current management of DVT in the wider population, it then considers its applicability to lymphoedema care. Outpatient management of ambulant persons who develop DVT has recently gained wide acceptance.

In order to treat chronic oedemas correctly it is essential that the condition has been correctly identified and a differential diagnosis made as to the cause of the swelling. This article aims to provide definitions and characteristics of the different types of oedema/chronic oedema, how to recognize chronic oedema and provide suggestions for onward referral to the appropriate healthcare professionals who should be involved in the patients care.

Problem: Studies have examined the quantitative causal factors of postpartum depression. However, the lived experience of postpartum depression has not been investigated.

Method: Using a psychophenomenological design, the investigators examined reports from seven clients with a psychiatric diagnosis of postpartum depression and the role life experiences played in their labor, delivery, and postpartum periods.
