BACKGROUND Endometriosis is a condition where uterine lining tissue grows outside the uterine cavity, commonly on the ovaries and pelvic peritoneum, but can also occur in rare locations such as the cervix, lungs or pleura. Cervical endometriosis is typically diagnosed retrospectively through post-surgical pathology as it was in this case. This article presents a case of cervical endometriosis with recurrent vaginal bleeding, reviews recent literature to aid in clinical diagnosis and treatment.

Effects of Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer (EPDM)-Based Polar Macromolecular Compatibilizers on the Low-Temperature Properties of Fluoroelastomer/EPDM Rubber Blends.

Integrating rubber with superior low-temperature capabilities, such as ethylene propylene diene monomer (EPDM), is a strategic approach to bolster the low-temperature performance of fluoroelastomer (FKM). However, FKM and EPDM are thermodynamically incompatible. This work synthetized three EPDM-based polar macromolecular compatibilizers, epoxidized EPDM (EPDM-EP), 2,2-trifluoroethylamine-grafted epoxidized EPDM (EPDM-TF), and 2,4-difluorobenzylamine-grafted epoxidized EPDM (EPDM-DF), to enhance the compatibility between FKM and EPDM.

Transvaginal ultrasound, computed tomography, and magnetic resonance imaging examinations all indicated a space-occupying lesion in the uterine cavity, and initially was considered endometrial carcinoma.

Being a progressive condition, the continuous monitoring of vital signs and symptoms of HF patients to identify any deterioration and to customize treatment regimens can be beneficial to the management of this disease.

Quantum Phase Transition as a Promising Route to Enhance the Critical Current in Kagome Superconductor CsVSb.

Developing strategies to systematically increase the critical current, the threshold current below which the superconductivity exists, is an important goal of materials science. Here, the concept of quantum phase transition is employed to enhance the critical current of a kagome superconductor CsVSb, which exhibits a charge density wave (CDW) and superconductivity that are both affected by hydrostatic pressure. As the CDW phase is rapidly suppressed under pressure, a large enhancement in the self-field critical current (I) is recorded.
