Functional health literacy among left-behind students in senior high schools in an ethnic minority area: A cross-sectional study.

To verify the validity of functional health literacy scale and analyze what influences functional health literacy.Using convenience sampling method based on cross-sectional data to select 589 left-behind senior high-school students in an ethnic minority area, using the functional health literacy scale.The scale results were relatively strong, and the absolute fitness index, value-added fitness index, and simple fitness index reached the fitness standards.

[Self-image and social support of adolescents among the Korean-Chinese].

Purpose: This study was designed to identify the degree of self-image and social support among Korean-Chinese adolescents and investigate the relationship between these variables.

Method: A total of 621 Korean-Chinese adolescents in five middle schools in YanBian, China were recruited from March 1st to the 9th, 2005. Data was analysed using descriptive statistics, Pearson correlation coefficient, t-test, and ANOVA with the SPSS 11.
