Immune-related adverse events (irAEs) impact outcomes, with most research focusing on early prediction (baseline data), rather than near-term prediction (one cycle before the occurrence of irAEs and the current cycle). We aimed to explore the near-term predictive value of neutrophil/lymphocyte ratio (NLR), platelet/lymphocyte ratio (PLR), absolute eosinophil count (AEC) for severe irAEs induced by PD-1 inhibitors. Data were collected from tumor patients treated with PD-1 inhibitors.

Anode-free lithium metal batteries (AFLBs) have attracted considerable attention due to their high theoretical specific capacity and absence of Li. However, the heterogeneous Li deposition and stripping on the lithiophobic Cu collector hamper AFLBs in practice. To achieve a uniform and reversible Li deposition, a carbon-based layer on the Cu collector has attracted intense interest due to its high conductivity.

Inkjet printing is of great interest in the preparation of optoelectronic and microelectronic devices due to its low cost, low process temperature, versatile material compatibility, and ability to precisely manufacture multi-layer devices on demand. However, interlayer solvent erosion is a typical problem that limits the printing of organic semiconductor devices with multi-layer structures. In this study, we proposed a solution to address this erosion problem by designing polystyrene-block-poly(4-vinyl pyridine)-grafted Au nanoparticles (Au@PS-b-P4VP NPs).

Lithium-sulfur (Li-S) batteries have ultrahigh theoretical specific capacity and energy density, which are considered to be very promising energy storage devices. However, the slow redox kinetics of polysulfides are the main reason for the rapid capacity decay of Li-S batteries. A reasonable electrocatalyst for the Li-S battery should reduce the reaction barrier and accelerate the reaction kinetics of the bidirectional catalytic conversion of lithium polysulfides (LiPSs), thereby reducing the cumulative concentration of LiPSs in the electrolyte.

Whether respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) infection in early life may induce orosomucoid 1-like protein 3 (ORMDL3) and lead to NOD-like receptor protein 3 (NLRP3) inflammasome overexpression in asthma, which could be alleviated by the inhibition of HAT p300. First, we explored the relationship between RSV, ORMDL3, and recurrent wheezing in the future through clinical data of infants with RSV-induced bronchiolitis. Then, we used bronchial epithelium transformed with Ad12-SV40 2B (BEAS-2B) and an asthmatic mouse model of repeated RSV infection and OVA sensitization and challenge (rRSV + OVA) in early life to assess the effects of ORMDL3 on NLRP3 inflammasome and that of histone acetylation on ORMDL3 regulation.

LiNiCoMnO (NCM811) is a common cathode material in lithium-ion batteries (LIBs), and the ever-increasing consumption of large quantities of LIBs raises critical concerns about their recycling. Herein, we propose an in-situ lithiation route to tune the structure and electrocatalytic properties of NCM811 by Li intercalation and exfoliation in LIBs. In this strategy, the morphology and microstructure of the lithiated NCM811 can be controlled by a specified discharge voltage.
