This study aimed to investigate the effects of dietary supplementation with pomegranate peel powder (PP) on the growth performance, serum biochemistry, antioxidant capacity, intestinal microbiota, and duodenal mucosal metabolites of yellow-feathered broilers. Current used pesticides (CUPs) are extensively used as alternatives for traditional pesticides in the world. In order to investigate the pollution characteristics of CUPs in a large-scale multimedium environment, a comprehensive and comparative study was conducted on occurrence, spatial-seasonal distribution, and air-soil exchange of CUPs across 30° latitude in Eastern China. While traditional organochlorine pesticides (OCPs) have been phased out under international regulations, novel OCPs are increasingly used as substitutes, however, their environmental behavior was not well clarified. Pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC) contains an extensive stroma that modulates response to therapy, contributing to the dismal prognosis associated with this cancer. Evidence suggests that PDAC stromal composition is shaped by mutations within malignant cells, but most previous work has focused on pre-clinical models driven by KrasG12D and mutant Trp53. Here, we show that vitamin E succinate (VES) acts as a degrader for the mA RNA demethylase fat mass and obesity-associated protein (FTO), thus suppressing tumor growth and resistance to immunotherapy. FTO is ubiquitinated by its E3 ligase DTX2, followed by UFD1 recruitment and subsequent degradation in the proteasome. VES binds to FTO and DTX2, leading to enhanced FTO-DTX2 interaction, FTO ubiquitination, and degradation in FTO-dependent tumor cells.

Ultrasound (US) based radiomics is susceptible to variations in scanners, sonographers. To retrospectively investigate the feasibility of an adapted cycle generative adversarial networks (CycleGAN) in the style transfer to improve US based radiomics in the prediction of lymph node metastasis (LNM) with images from multiple scanners for patients with early cervical cancer (ECC). The CycleGAN was firstly trained to transfer paired US phantom images from one US device to another one; the model was then further trained and tested with clinical US images of ECC by transferring images from four US devices to one specific device; finally, the adapted model was tested with its effects on the radiomics feature harmonization and accuracy of LNM prediction in US based radiomics for ECC patients.
