Vascular sclerotherapy is an effective treatment for vascular malformations. However, current sclerosants have difficulty achieving both high efficiency and low toxicity, and their dosing forms make it difficult to achieve long-term retention in the affected blood vessels.

However, important RNA regulators in kidney cancer still need further exploration. In this study, we collected regulators representing different types of RNA modification and identified the prognosis-related RNA regulators in kidney cancer patients.

Compared with existing models, LEMFN captures rich fault features at multiple scales by combining time-domain and frequency-domain signals, thereby enhancing the model's robustness to noise and improving data adaptability under varying operating conditions. Additionally, the convolutional block attention module (CBAM) and random overlapping sampling technology (ROST) are introduced, and through a feature fusion strategy, the accurate diagnosis of mechanical equipment faults is achieved.

During the metastatic cascade, tumor plasticity enables cells to adapt to environmental changes, thereby facilitating dissemination. We previously found that epithelial splicing regulatory protein 1 (ESRP1) is linked to peritoneal metastasis and epithelial-mesenchymal plasticity in ovarian cancer.

Background: Pathological subtypes of papillary thyroid carcinoma (PTC) are important factors in thyroid cancer. Some rare subtypes exhibit extensive lymph node metastasis. These pathological subtypes should receive more attention in clinical practice.

A recent prognostic marker, the BUN/ALB ratio (BAR), has been suggested as a simple and sensitive method to predict certain acute diseases.
Aims: To determine the predictive value of BAR in relation to the risk of in-hospital mortality among AIS patients.

Osteoporotic bone defects are serious medical problems due to their sparse bone structure, difficulty in restoration and reconstruction, and high recurrence rates, which also result in heavy economic and social burdens. Herein, we developed a hierarchical hydrogel composed of alendronate sodium (AS)/Mg-loaded inverse opal methylpropenylated gelatin (GelMA) hydrogel microspheres (IOHM-AS-Mgs) within methylpropenylated poly(hyaluronic acid) (HAMA) for osteoporotic bone defect treatment. The IOHM-AS-Mgs displayed good cytocompatibility and cell adhesion and strongly stimulated osteogenesis at the transcriptomic and protein levels.

However, the relationship between obesity and lymph node status remains unclear. Therefore, this systematic review aims to evaluate the correlation between body mass index (BMI) and lymph node metastasis in cervical cancer.

Type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) is a chronic metabolic disease characterized by hyperglycemia, insulin resistance, and insufficient insulin secretion. Sarcopenia, as a new complication of diabetes, is characterized by the loss of muscle mass and the progressive decline of muscle strength and function in T2DM patients, which has a serious impact on the physical and mental health of patients. Insulin resistance, mitochondrial dysfunction, and chronic inflammation are common mechanisms of diabetes and sarcopenia.

Objective: To evaluate the clinical efficacy of a single-session implantation of spinal cord electrical stimulation with neurophysiological monitoring a spinal cord electrical stimulator under general anesthesia with neurophysiological monitoring for the treatment of high-risk diabetic foot.
Methods: The clinical data of seven patients with high-risk diabetic foot who underwent spinal cord electrical stimulation in neurosurgery ward nine of Tianjin Huanhu Hospital from May 2022 to May 2023 were collected. The operation was performed under general anesthesia with the "C" arm X ray machine guidance and neurophysiological monitoring.
Neoadjuvant chemotherapy (NACT) is a therapeutic option for locally advanced cervical cancer (LACC) patients. This study was aimed to identify potential liquid biopsy biomarkers to monitor the NACT response. Through targeted next-generation sequencing (NGS) analysis of circulating tumor DNA (ctDNA) and tumor tissue DNA (ttDNA) taken from LACC patients undergoing platinum-based NACT, 64 genes with mutations emerge during NACT in the non-responders but none in the responders.

Here, we presented a new type of multicargo-loaded inverse opal hydrogel microparticle (IOHM) for regulating oxidative stress, antibiosis, and angiogenesis of the bacteria-infected wound. The methacrylate acylated gelatin (GelMA)-based inverse opal hydrogel microparticles (IOHMs) were obtained by using the colloidal crystal microparticles as templates, and fullerol, silver nanoparticles (Ag NPs), and vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) were loaded in IOHMs.

Previously, we found that adipose-derived mesenchymal stem cells (ADSCs) undergoing a phenotype shift toward cancer-associated fibroblasts (CAFs) participated in the orchestrated omental premetastatic niche for ovarian cancer. Here, we aim to elucidate the underlying mechanisms.

The omentum is rich in adipose, and adipose-derived mesenchymal stem cells (ADSCs) have been identified as a source of CAFs. However, the molecular events driving the phenotype shift of ADSCs remain largely unexplored.
