Purpose: To study the correlation between the levels of inflammatory factors in gingival crevicular fluid and implant stability and prognosis after oral implant restoration.

Methods: A total of 78 patients who underwent oral implant restoration surgery from August 2022 to August 2023 were selected as the experimental group. According to the results of X-ray examination 1 month after implantation, the patients were divided into poor prognosis subgroup(n=33) and good prognosis subgroup(n=45), another 60 healthy subjects who underwent physical examination during the same period were selected as the control group.

Lung cancer is the leading factor of cancer-related death in the worldwide. Hexavalent chromium [Cr(VI)] is a potential carcinogen for inducing lung cancers. To understand new mechanism of Cr(VI)-induced tumorigenesis and cancer development, we identified that PDK1 expression levels were greatly increased in chromium-transformed cells (Cr-T) compared to the parental BEAS-2B (B2B) cells by proteomic profiling and Western blotting; PDK1 levels were also induced in lung cancer cell lines and in lung samples of mice exposed to Cr(VI).

Ureaplasma urealyticum (UU) is one of the most commonly occurring pathogens associated with genital tract infections in infertile males, but the impact of seminal UU infection in semen on intrauterine insemination (IUI) outcomes is poorly understood. Hexavalent chromium [Cr(VI)] exposure increases the risk of cancer occurrence. This study found that the levels of an atypical methyltransferase, METTL16 were greatly upregulated in the cells, and mouse tissues with Cr(VI) exposure, and played a critical role in cell proliferation and tumor growth induced by Cr(VI). Similarly, we found METTL16 was upregulated in various human cancer tissues.

We construct a sensitive chemiluminescent biosensor for sensitive detection of cytosine deaminase APOBEC3A based on deamination-triggered exponential signal amplification.
