A series of monofunctionalized pillar[]arenes skeleton macrocycles pillar[]arene[1]phthalimide and pillar[]arene[1]naphthalimide ( = 4-6) were synthesized successfully through fragment coupling cyclization in a one-pot reaction. The introduction of pyromellitic diimide and naphthalene diimide units into the pillar[]arenes skeleton not only disturbs the symmetry of the pillar[]arenes but also changes their self-assembly behavior in the solid state. This functionalization approach greatly expands the structural diversity of the pillar[]arenes.

The formation of cage was characterized and confirmed by NMR spectroscopy, mass spectrometry, and theoretical calculations. The yield of cage could be controlled by tuning the reaction conditions, such as the precursor concentration.

The employment of easily available reactants, excellent functional group tolerability, and mild reaction conditions make this process very practical.
View Article and Find Full Text PDFA simple and practical molecular iodine-mediated method for the efficient construction of thiocarbamates from isocyanides, thiols and water under metal-free and mild conditions has been developed. A variety of thiocarbamates were easily synthesized through this methodology, which has the advantages of simple operation, eco-friendly conditions, good functional group tolerance, and readily accessible raw materials.

To address these controversies, we performed this systematic review of prospective studies published in December 2016 and earlier using PubMed, Embase, and Web of Science. Two independent researchers conducted the eligibility assessment and data extraction; all discrepancies were solved by discussion with a third researcher.

Despite several narrative reports on the antidepressant properties of MPLR, it appears that there are no systematic reviews to summarize its outcome effects. Therefore, the aim of this review was to assess the effectiveness and safety of MPLR adjuvant therapy in patients with PSD.
