Objective: We aimed to construct and validate machine learning models for endotracheal tube (ETT) size prediction in pediatric patients.
Methods: Data of 990 pediatric patients underwent endotracheal intubation were retrospectively collected between November 2019 and October 2021, and separated into cuffed and uncuffed endotracheal tube subgroups. Six machine learning algorithms, including support vector regression (SVR), logistic regression (LR), random forest (RF), gradient boosting tree (GBR), decision tree (DTR) and extreme gradient boosting tree (XGBR), were selected to construct and validate models using ten-fold cross validation in training set.
Removal of trace SO from an SO-containing product is now receiving increasing attention. However, designing a robust porous adsorbent with high SO adsorption capacity and good SO/CO selectivity, as well as validity under humid conditions, is still a challenging task. Herein, we report a porous cage-based metal-organic framework, namely ECUT-111, which contains two distinct cages with apertures of 5.

Taihu Lake basin was selected as the study site. Based on the landscape data of 2000, 2005, 2010 and 2015, the Markov and CLUE-S models were used to simulate the landscape types with different scenarios in 2030, and landscape ecological risk index was constructed. The shift of gravity center and spatial statistics were used to reveal landscape ecological risk of Taihu Lake basin with temporal and spatial characteristics.

Research has identified social exclusion as one of the social determinants of health. There are risks of social exclusion in later life in recent years. However, despite the fact that China has the largest aging population in the world and reports a rapid growth in the proportion of older people living alone, research on the role of social exclusion on depression is limited.

However, the molecular mechanisms of the recognition reaction induced by this drug remain unclear. Silencing of thioester-containing protein-1 (TEP1) significantly compromised the ability of Anopheles gambiae to melanize the Plasmodium, leading to investigation of the involvement of A.

The gene expression profiles of developing and germinated pollen have been characterised by use of the eudicot model plant Arabidopsis. Rice, one of the most important cereal crops, has been used as an excellent monocot model.

In the present study, we found that nitroquine, an effective antimalaria drug, could also induce melanotic encapsulation of Plasmodium by Anopheles stephensi. The melanization rate of the nitroquine treated group was 60.
