High-precision geophones play crucial roles in terrestrial applications such as oil and gas exploration as well as seismic monitoring. The development of optomechanical precision measurements provides a new design method for geophones, offering higher sensitivity and smaller dimensions compared to traditional geophones. In this work, we introduce an optomechanical microelectromechanical system (MEMS) geophone based on a plano-concave Fabry‒Perot (F-P) microcavity, which has a high sensitivity of 146 V/g.

The comprehension of the underlying mechanisms that facilitate the restoration of rhizosphere microbial communities in "healthy soils" is imperative for ecologically managing tobacco bacterial wilt. This study focuses on acidified tobacco soils that have been subjected to continuous cultivation for 20 years.

Compared with proteins, minerals, vitamins and pigments in egg yolk, there is a lack of systematic research on extraction methods and characteristics of yolk lipid. Therefore, in this study, the extraction of egg yolk lipids by supercritical CO fluid extraction (SFE), subcritical propane extraction (SPE) and ethanol solvent extraction (SE) was studied, and the differences in composition and physicochemical properties of the three yolk lipids were analyzed.

The synthesis mechanism, microstructures, thermal management capability, and photothermal conversion of NiO@CF/OD CPCMs were systematically studied. Additionally, the collaborative enhancement effects of CF and multiform NiO nanowalls on the thermal properties of OD PCMs were also investigated.

Background: Most Chinese blood centers have implemented mini pool (MP) HBV nucleic acid testing (NAT) together with HBsAg ELISA in routine blood donor screening for HBV infection since 2015, and a few centers upgraded MP to individual donation (ID) NAT screening recently, raising urgent need for cost-benefit analysis of different screening strategies. In an effort to prevent transfusion-transmitted infections (TTIs) for HBV, cost-benefit analyses of three different screening strategies: HBsAg alone, HBsAg plus MP NAT and HBsAg plus ID NAT were performed in blood donors from southern China where HBV infection was endemic.
Methods: MP-6 HBV NAT and ID NAT were adopted in parallel to screen blood donors for further comparative analysis.

Methods: The clinical data of patients with Type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) treated at the First Affiliated Hospital of Jishou University from March 2021 to March 2022 were retrospectively analyzed. Patients were assigned into a control group (n=42) and a study group (n=42) according to their treatment regimen.
Sn-doped indium oxide (ITO) semiconductor nano-films are fabricated by plasma-enhanced atomic layer deposition using trimethylindium (TMIn), tetrakis(dimethylamino)tin (TDMASn), and Oplasma as the sources of In, Sn and O, respectively. A shared temperature window of 150 °C- 200 °C is observed for the deposition of ITO nano-films. The introduction of Sn into indium oxide is found to increase the concentration of oxygen into the ITO films and inhibit crystallization.

Methods: Cardiopulmonary bypass was established in 12 healthy male pigs, who were randomized to receive a single dose of either Huaxi-1 or entirely crystalloid. All animals were then subjected to whole-heart ischemia for 90 min, followed by 2 h of reperfusion, after which myocardial injury was assessed in terms of cardiac function, myocardial pathology and levels of biomarkers in plasma, while levels of high-energy phosphate in myocardium were assayed using liquid chromatography.
In this pioneering study for identifying atomic scale magnetic moment, a single hydrogen atom chemisorbed on pristine graphene exhibits distinct spin polarization. Using first-principles calculations and analyses, we demonstrate that the binding between a H adsorbate and a C substrate is substantially enhanced compensated B-N pairs embedded into graphene. Surprisingly, the interaction can be further enhanced non-compensated B-N pair doping.

However, hen eggs have a more adequate market supply and have a broader application prospect than duck eggs. In the present study, egg yolks, plasma, and granules were dehydrated by adding 1% NaCl to simulate traditional curing process of salted egg yolk.

Methods: In total, 10 participants with AO/OTA type 41B2 tibial plateau fractures diagnosed by preoperative imaging examinations were enrolled in this study between May 2019 and May 2022. They were 5 males and 5 females, with an average age of 45.
Transcription factor EB (TFEB) mediates gene expression through binding to the coordinated lysosome expression and regulation (CLEAR) sequence. TFEB targets include subunits of the vacuolar ATPase (v-ATPase), which are essential for lysosome acidification. Single-nucleus RNA sequencing of wild-type and PS19 (Tau) transgenic mice expressing the P301S mutant tau identified three unique microglia subclusters in Tau mice that were associated with heightened lysosome and immune pathway genes.

However, the relationship between and antioxidant activity has yet to be verified, and the mode of action needs further investigation. Six strains isolated from the intestines of neonatal piglets fed with PCPs were studied to investigate the relationship between and intestinal oxidative stress.

The results showed that the supernatant of the culture alleviated colitis and remodeled gut microbiota, represented by an increased abundance of bacteria producing short-chain fatty acids, leading to an increased concentration of propionic acid in the intestine. Further studies revealed that propionic acid inhibited activation of the MAPK signaling pathway and polarization of M1 macrophages.

Besides the pathological hallmarks of β-amyloid (Aβ) plaques and neurofibrillary tangles, emerging evidence demonstrates a critical role of microglia and neuroinflammation in AD pathogenesis. Oleoylethanolamide (OEA) is an endogenous lipid amide that has been shown to promote lifespan and healthspan in C.
