This study systematically analyzed the current status of outcomes in randomized controlled trial(RCT) of traditional Chinese medicine(TCM) treatment of diabetic kidney disease(DKD), aiming to provide a reference for constructing the core outcome set(COS) of TCM treatment of DKD. The clinical RCTs of TCM treatment of DKD that were published from January 2019 to March 2024 were retrieved from seven databases: CNKI, Wanfang, VIP, SinoMed, PubMed, Cochrane Library, and Web of Science. The risk of bias was assessed and outcome indicators were qualitatively analyzed.

Both and exhibit dimeric structures ascribed to the presence of di-2-pyridylketone moieties that demonstrate dual functions of chelation and intermolecular bridging. The H NMR spectra and the crystal structure showed that the amido oxygen adjacent to the chiral carbon was coordinated with zinc. NMR and UV-vis titration showed that the binding of [Zn(S-MAABis)] to amino acid esters occurred via two equilibria, forming 1:1 and 1:2 host-guest complexes.

In response to the growing demand for clean, green, and sustainable energy sources, the development of cost-effective and durable high-activity overall water splitting electrocatalysts is urgently needed. In this study, the heterogeneous structure formed by the combination of FeCoNiP and FeNi-LDH was homogeneously dispersed onto CuO nanowires generated by in-situ oxidation of copper foam as a substrate using an electrodeposition method. This multilevel structure exhibits excellent bifunctional properties as an electrode material in alkaline solutions, for the oxygen evolution reaction (OER) and the hydrogen evolution reaction (HER) only 206 mV and 147 mV overpotentials are needed to achieve a current density of 100 mA cm respectively.

Dimethyl Fumarate (DMF), an effective therapeutic agent approved for the treatment of multiple sclerosis, has been widely reported to display anti-inflammatory and anti-oxidative effects. However, the impact of DMF on chronic stress-induced anxiety disorders and the exact underlying mechanisms remain largely unknown.

In the present work, we report that a simple cationic Fe(III)-rich salt of [FeCl(TMPPH)][FeCl] () exhibits a superior anticancer performance on a broad spectrum of cancer cell lines, including breast, colorectal cancer, liver, pancreatic, prostate, and gastric cancers, with half maximal inhibitory concentration (IC) values in the range of 0.098-3.

However, the electron-deficient surface-active Fe species in FeWO are insufficient to cleave HO via Fe redox-mediated Fenton-like catalytic reaction. Herein, we doped Sulfur (S) atom into FeWO catalysts to refine the electronic structure of FeWO for HO activation and sulfamethoxazole (SMX) degradation.

Nevertheless, depositing uniform and dense SAMs with high surface coverage on metal oxide substrates remains a critical challenge. In this work, we propose a holistic strategy to construct composite hole transport layers (HTLs) by co-adsorbing mixed SAMs (MeO-2PACz and 2PACz) onto the surface of the HO-modified NiO layer.

Surface-area analysis indicated that Cu-TMPP features a mesoporous structure and its solvate-like Cl counterions can be exchanged by BF , PF , and NO . The polyvinylpyrrolidone (PVP) coated Cu-TMPP (denoted as Cu-TMPP-PVP) demonstrated good ROS generating ability, producing ⋅OH in the absence of light (peroxidase-like activity) and O on light irradiation (650 nm; 25 mW cm).

However, lack of satisfied neighboring building blocks negatively impacts the optoelectronic properties of OSNCs-based HTMs and imperils the stability of perovskite solar cells (PSCs). To address this limitation, we introduce the benzothieno[3,2-b]thiophene (BTT) to construct a new OSNC, and the resulting HTM ZS13 shows improved intermolecular charge extraction/transport properties, proper energy level, efficient surface passivation effect.

Herein, a core-shell nanosensitizer UiO@MnS (denoted as UM) was genuinely constructed for the amplification of RT efficacy and induction of immunogenicity via integrating MnS-reprogrammed TME with Hf-based UiO-sensitized RT. The acid-sensitive MnS would produce HS under acidic TME to improve oxygenation through inhibition mitochondrial respiration and reducing metabolic oxygen consumption, leading to decreased HIF-1α expression and enhanced radiosensitization.

Commonly used clinical approaches include etiological control, microvascular improvement, and surgical intervention, but they are ineffective and have many side effects. Oral Chinese medicine (OCM) has been used for thousands of years to treat DR and is still widely used today, but it is unclear which OCM is more effective for DR.

However, the perovskite emission layer (EML) and the electron transport layer (ETL) form a poor physically interfacial contact and non-negligible charge injection barrier, limiting the device performance. Herein, we utilize a phosphine oxide, 2,4,6-tris[3-(diphenylphosphinyl)phenyl]-1,3,5-triazine (PO-T2T), to treat the perovskite/ETL interface and form a chemically bonded contact.

Materials And Methods: A homemade large-format complementary metal-oxide-semiconductor (CMOS) sensor and Gaf Chromic EBT3 films were used for the virtual source position measurement. The Gaf films were embedded in a self-designed rectangular plastic frame to tighten the films and set up on a treatment couch for irradiation in the air with the film perpendicular to the carbon ion beam at the nominal source-axis-distance (SAD) as well as upstream and downstream from the SAD.
The low X-ray attenuation coefficient of tumor soft tissue and the hypoxic tumor microenvironment (TME) during radiation therapy (RT) of breast cancer result in RT resistance and thus reduced therapeutic efficacy. In addition, immunosuppression induced by the TME severely limits the antitumor immunity of radiation therapy. In this paper, we propose a PCN-224@IrNCs/D-Arg nanoplatform for the synergistic radiosensitization, photodynamic, and NO therapy of breast cancer that also boosts antitumor immunity (PCN = porous coordination network, IrNCs = iridium nanocrystals, D-Arg = D-arginine).

The bis(2-oxo-3-oxazolidinyl) phosphinic chloride can not only regulate the phase distribution by controlling the crystallization rate but also passivate the defects of the quasi-2D perovskite. Highly efficient and reproducible Pero-LEDs are achieved with an maximum external quantum efficiency (EQE) of 20.

Here, we propose a seed-mediated successive growth approach to produce gold nanoshells on the surface of the nanoscale metal-organic framework (NMOF) of UiO-66-NH (UiO = the University of Oslo) in one pot. The key to this strategy is to modulate the proportion of the formaldehyde (reductant) and its regulator / oxidative product of formic acid to harness the particle nucleation and growth rate within the same system.

Rational ligand passivation is essential to achieve a higher performance of weakly confined lead halide perovskite quantum dots (PQDs) via a mechanism of surface chemistry and/or microstrain. In situ passivation with 3-mercaptopropyltrimethoxysilane (MPTMS) produces CsPbBr PQDs with an enhanced photoluminescence quantum yield (PLQY, Φ) of up to 99%; meanwhile, charge transport of the PQD film can be enhanced by one order of magnitude. Herein, we examine the effect of the molecular structure of MPTMS as the ligand exchange agent in comparison to octanethiol.
