Unveiling magmatic structures and connectivity beneath the lunar Oceanus Procellarum region from GRAIL gravity data.

The Oceanus Procellarum region, characterized by its vast basaltic plains and pronounced volcanic activity, serves as a focal point for understanding the volcanic history of the Moon. Here we present density models of the magmatic structures beneath Oceanus Procellarum, derived from Gravity Recovery and Interior Laboratory (GRAIL) mission data. The models uncover pronounced linear magmatic structures along the Procellarum's western border and significant intrusions within the northern and southern Marius Hills.

Personalised Assessment and Rapid Intervention in Frail Patients With Lung Cancer: The Impact of an Outpatient Occupational Therapy Service.

Introduction: Lung cancer and its treatments cause or accelerate frailty, detrimentally affecting function and quality of life. Occupational therapists (OTs) provide global assessments and interventions, but services are often available for inpatients. The impact of holistic assessment and early intervention in the outpatient setting is unknown.

Objectives: Routinely used performance status scales, assessing patients' suitability for cancer treatment, have limited ability to account for multimorbidity, frailty and cognition. The Clinical Frailty Scale (CFS) is a suggested alternative, but research detailing its use in oncology is limited. This study aims to evaluate if CFS is associated with prognosis and care needs on discharge in oncology inpatients.

Objectives: Preoperative exercise training can improve cardiorespiratory fitness before major surgery. However, little is known about what influences participation and adherence in high-risk patient groups. We identified barriers and facilitators to uptake, engagement and adherence to a presurgical, home-based physical activity and exercise intervention called ChemoFit delivered during chemotherapy and before major oesophagogastric surgery.

A feasibility trial of prehabilitation before oesophagogastric cancer surgery using a multi-component home-based exercise programme: the ChemoFit study.

Background: Treatment for locally advanced oesophagogastric adenocarcinoma involves neoadjuvant chemotherapy which has a negative impact on patient fitness. Using 'prehabilitation' to increase activity levels and fitness may affect physiology, postoperative outcomes and improve patient wellbeing and quality of life. The aims of the trial were to address the feasibility and acceptability of recruiting participants to a home-based prehabilitation programme and provide data to allow design of future studies.

The data presented in this article are primarily related to the Tectonophysics research article "Rift-related magmatism on magma-poor margins: Structural and potential field analyses of the Mesozoic Notre Dame Bay intrusions, Newfoundland, Canada and their link to North Atlantic Opening" Peace et al. (2018). The present data article contains structural geology data from lamprophyre dykes and surrounding country rock in proximity to the Mesozoic gabbroic Budgell Harbour Stock (BHS), Newfoundland, Canada, in addition to sub-surface density and susceptibility models of the main igneous body.

Managing fatigue in postural tachycardia syndrome (PoTS): The Newcastle approach.

Fatigue is a significant symptom that is frequently reported by those with postural tachycardia syndrome (PoTS). There are a variety of reasons why those with PoTS might experience fatigue and as a consequence an individualised approach to management is most appropriate. In this chapter we will examine the prevalence of fatigue in those with PoTS, its overlap with conditions such as chronic fatigue syndrome and describe a clinical approach to the management of fatigue in those with PoTS.

An esthetic technique for veneering anterior stainless steel crowns with composite resin.

The restoration of primary anterior teeth presents complicated esthetic and retention problems to the clinician. A technique is described for the chairside veneering of composite resin to stainless steel crowns, which results in well contoured restorations with superior durability and esthetics. A trimmed and fitted stainless steel crown can be veneered in three to five minutes.

An epidemiologic study of factors affecting extrinsic staining of teeth in an English population.

A survey is described in which extrinsic staining of teeth was assessed by practising dentists during routine clinical examinations. Habits information was also supplied by patients. The results show that extrinsic staining is markedly influenced by smoking habits and age, and that males tend to have more staining than females.
