Increasing scRNA-seq data in cardiovascular research have substantially improved our knowledge on the development of the cardiovascular system and the mechanisms underlying cardiovascular diseases. However, the single-cell transcriptome datasets were dispersed in literature and no resource for cardiovascular systems and diseases. Here, we constructed an organized resource CardioAtlas, which provides comprehensive analysis results for > 1,929,000 cells in 27 human data sets and > 1,088,000 cells in 39 mouse data sets.

This modeling framework can explain several properties of motion-dependent motor adaptation (e.g.

Mining and summarizing the spatial distribution of SNVs in diseased and normal tissues for a better understanding of their characteristics and potential roles in cell-lineage determination, aging, or disease occurrence is significant. Herein, we have developed a comprehensive spatial mutation resource stSNV (http://bio-bigdata.
View Article and Find Full Text PDFAberrant expression of cyclin-dependent kinase 5 (Cdk5) has been reported in pituitary adenomas. However, the role of Cdk5 in the tumorigenesis remains unclear. We show that prenatal p25-activated Cdk5 phosphorylates minichromosome maintenance protein 2 (Mcm2), enhancing minichromosome maintenance (MCM) family proteins and driving intermediate lobe-located melanotrope-originated pituitary tumorigenesis.

Patients with BPA have higher risk of cardiocerebrovascular disease (CCVD) than those with essential hypertension. There is no consensus on the criteria to assess the effectiveness of medical therapy for BPA.

Methods: This study utilized longitudinal data from the China Health and Nutrition Survey (CHNS) collected in 2009, 2015, and 2018. A total of 8,023 participants aged ≥40 years (3,595 males and 4,428 females) were included.
Contemporary research has begun to show a strong relationship between movements and the perception of time. More specifically, concurrent movements serve to both bias and enhance time estimates. To explain these effects, we recently proposed a mechanism by which movements provide a secondary channel for estimating duration that is combined optimally with sensory estimates.

Cancer progression involves the gradual loss of a differentiated phenotype and the acquisition of progenitor and stem cell-like features, which are potential culprits of immunotherapy resistance. Although the state-of-the-art predictive computational methods have facilitated the prediction of cancer stemness, there remains a lack of efficient resources to accommodate various usage requirements. Here, we present the Cancer Stemness Online, an integrated resource for efficiently scoring cancer stemness potential at both bulk and single-cell levels.

To develop an evidence-based, nurse-leading early warning model for TA-TMA, and implement the healthcare quality review and improvement project.
Methods: This study was a mixed-methods, before-and-after study.
Two-dimensional (2D) materials with excellent properties and widespread applications have been explosively investigated. However, their conventional synthetic methods exhibit concerns of limited scalability, complex purification process, and incompetence of prohibiting their restacking. The blowing strategy, characterized by gas-template, low-cost, and high-efficiency, presents a valuable avenue for the synthesis of 2D-based foam materials and thereby addresses these constraints.

Thus, mining and summarizing single-cell variants will provide a refined and higher-resolution view of cancer and further contribute to precision medicine. Here, we established a database, CanCellVar, which aims to provide and visualize the comprehensive atlas of single-cell variants in tumor microenvironment.

Nevertheless, the link between NAFLD and UI is unclear. Hence, the study was designed to evaluate the association between the NAFLD and UI (including UI types) in a nationally representative sample of United States (US) female adults.

Differentiation of Leydig cells plays a key role in male reproductive function. Bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells (BMSCs) have emerged as a potential cell source for generating Leydig-like cells due to their multipotent differentiation capacity and accessibility. This study aimed to investigate the morphological and genetic expression changes of BMSCs during differentiation into Leydig-like cells.

However, our understanding of spatial diversity patterns is far from complete, which severely limits our ability to conserve biodiversity hotspots. Here, we report a comprehensive analysis of amphibian species diversity in China, one of the most species-rich countries on Earth.

LCN13 high-expression has been reported to possess anti-obesity and anti-diabetic effects. Although metabolic dysfunction-associated steatotic liver diseases (MASLD) including metabolic dysfunction-associated steatohepatitis (MASH) are frequently associated with obesity and insulin resistance, the functional role of endogenous LCN13 and the therapeutic effect of LCN13 in MASH and related metabolic deterioration have not been evaluated.
