Background: The calmodulin (CaM) and calmodulin-like (CML) proteins play regulatory roles in plant growth and development, responses to biotic and abiotic stresses, and other biological processes. As a popular fruit and ornamental crop, it is important to explore the regulatory mechanism of flower and fruit development of passion fruit.
Results: In this study, 32 PeCaM/PeCML genes were identified from passion fruit genome and were divided into 9 groups based on phylogenetic analysis.
Oversampled modulation (OM) and undersampled modulation (UM) are two commonly used optical camera communication (OCC) modulation schemes for high-speed communication in short-range and reliable communication at long distances, respectively. However, the relationship between these two schemes and the tradeoff in performance for arbitrary communication distances have not been thoroughly investigated. In this study, we analyze the impact of distance and modulation parameters on pixel efficiency and packet delivery rate performance, demonstrating the underlying unity of traditional OM and UM schemes.

Background: Eosinophilia is an increase of more than 0.5 × 10/L in the number of eosinophils; it is a systemic condition with an unknown etiology and is often accompanied by multiple impaired organ functions. The clinical manifestations of the disease are highly variable and diverse, rendering identification of the diagnosis challenging; hence, diagnosis and treatment are often delayed.

To reveal the underlying mechanism of color formation in this fruit, a combined analysis of the metabolome and transcriptome was conducted in this study.

In the present study, PPO and its endogenous substrates were extracted from rambutan pericarp tissues (RPT). The substrate extracts were sequentially partitioned with ethyl acetate and n-butanol.

Design And Methods: Case-controlled study, which consisted of 118 CAD patients and 255 unrelated subjects used as control group. Plasma concentration of ApoM was determined by dot blot, severity of CAD was expressed with Gensini score or the numbers of lesioned coronary arteries, and serum lipid levels were also measured.
