A case of idiopathic retroperitoneal fibrosis presenting as gallbladder carcinoma.

Background: Retroperitoneal fibrosis (RPF) is a rare disease with a poor prognosis characterized by systemic inflammation and fibroinflammatory tissue. Idiopathic RPF (IRPF) accounts for approximately two-thirds of RPF cases.

Case Presentation: A 56-year-old female patient with abdominal distension was admitted to Changxing Hospital.

The effect of a simple simulator on the application of laparoscopic common bile duct exploration in a low volume center.

Background: The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of a simple laparoscopic common bile duct exploration (LCBDE) simulator and corresponding practicing program on the application of performing LCBDE in a low volume center.

Methods: A retrospective review was performed by analyzing data from the electronic medical record for 4118 patients with choledocholithiasis in Changxing County Hospital (Huzhou, Zhejiang, China) between January 2013 and December 2018. From January 2016, we have developed a simple LCBDE-specific simulator and corresponding practicing program in our hospital.

[Adsorption performances for sulfur dioxide using imidazole ionic liquids].

To discover the SO2 adsorption laws of ionic liquids in simulating flue gas, the SO2 adsorbents 1-butyl-3-methylimidazolium chloride ([Bmim] Cl), 1-butyl-3-methylimidazolium nitrate ([Bmim] NO3), 1-butyl-3-methylimidazolium tetrafluoroborate ([Bmim] BF4) and 1-amyl-3-methylimidazolium chloride [C5 mim] Cl ionic liquids were synthesized. The performances were studied under different conditions and the general rules of regeneration were explored. And the diversification of [Bmim] Cl chemical structures, which were pre-desulfated, post-desulfated and post-regenerated, were characterized by Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy.
