The weevil (Harold, 1880), a wood-boring pest of (Mill.) Swingle, has caused significant ecological damage and economic loss in China. Physical control was effective against the related species (Motschulsky).

Some scholars have tried to apply deep learning techniques to identify pile-up nuclear pulse parameters. However, traditional deep learning recurrent neural networks (RNNs) suffer from inefficient pulse recognition and poor recognition of pile-up nuclear pulses with short intervals between adjacent pulses.

Projecting those impacts is necessary to ensure effective pest management in the future. (Erschoff) (Lepidoptera: Geometridae) is an important polyphagous forest pest in China where causes huge economic and ecological losses in 20 provinces.

The Boltzmann equation and the Townsend ionization coefficient are introduced to describe the behavior of electrons and the gas amplification in proportional counters, respectively. However, it is difficult to solve the Boltzmann equation completely and to obtain the critical radius at which electron avalanche begins.
View Article and Find Full Text PDFAcetyl coenzyme A (Ac-CoA)-dependent N-acetylation is performed by arylalkylamine N-acetyltransferase (AANAT) and is important in many biofunctions. AANAT catalyzes N-acetylation through an ordered sequential mechanism in which cofactor (Ac-CoA) binds first, with substrate binding afterward. No ternary structure containing AANAT, cofactor, and substrate was determined, meaning the details of substrate binding and product release remain unclear.

This results in the waveform distortion of a shaped pulse. In this study, the effect of distributed capacitance and resistance is equivalent to the result of RC network.

In fluorescence analysis, the phenomenon of overlapping often occurs among adjacent peaks. In the view of the random physical properties of formation process of X fluorescence spectra, Gaussian Mixture Statistics Model (GMSM) and Genetic Algorithms were used for the decomposition of overlapping peaks. First, the GMSM was proposed to describe the overlapping peaks, and the local convergence problem of expectation maximization (EM) was analyzed.
