Chemotherapy-induced peripheral neuropathy (CIPN) severely diminishes the quality of life for cancer survivors, yet effective treatments remain scarce. Esketamine, a commonly used anesthetic, has demonstrated neuroprotective effects by restoring gut microbiome dysbiosis. In this study, we investigated the impact of esketamine on nociceptive sensitivity in a mouse model of CIPN and explored the potential involvement of the gut microbiome.

Clear in its column setting, comprehensive in contents and strict with scrutiny of the advertisements, this journal had excellent texts, pictures and English abstracts. WANG Jimin and YU Xinen served as chief editors and issuers after the death of HUANG Zifang and made contributions to the development of the journal.

The objectives of this study were to investigate the antihyperglycemic effect of Cephalotaxus sinensis leaves and to identify the active components. The antihyperglycemic effect of various fractions (FA, FB, FC, FD) of the 80% ethanol extract of the leaves was evaluated in streptozotocin (STZ)-induced diabetic rats. Among the tested fractions, FC was the most active.
