Background: Long noncoding RNA (lncRNA) small nucleolar RNA host gene 3 (SNHG3) is an oncogenic lncRNA that has been reported in many cancers, but the role of SNHG3 in cholangiocarcinoma (CCA) remains largely unknown. Bioinformatic analysis revealed a regulatory relationship among SNHG3, miR-3173-5p, and ERG. miR-3173-5p is a tumour suppressive miRNA, while ERG is an oncogene.

Cholangiocarcinoma (CCA) is a highly aggressive and malignant tumor. In this study, the effect and molecular mechanism of nuclear enriched abundant transcript 1 (NEAT1) in CCA were elucidated. The expressions of NEAT1, microRNA-186-5p (miR-186-5p), and PTP4A1 were measured by quantitative real-time PCR.

This study aimed to investigate the effect of miniscrews thread shape on the stress distribution receiving a torque load. Seven thread shapes (S,V1,V2,B1,B2,R1,R2) models were constructed and a 6 Nmm-torque load was applied. The order of maximum equivalent stress (EQV) value was V1 > V2 > B1 > R1 > R2 > B2 > S.

Pruritus is one of the common side effects of intrathecal or epidural injection of opioids. The aim of this study was to test the antipruritic effect of acupuncture and its possible mechanism. We used electroacupuncture (EA), toll-like receptor (TLR)2/4 antagonist sparstolonin B (SsnB), and TLR2/4 agonist peptidoglycan (PGN) to precondition female wild-type BALB/c mice, and then prepared a morphine-induced pruritus model.

We aimed to investigate the preventive effects of acupuncture for complications after radical hysterectomy. A single-center randomized controlled single-blinded trial was performed in a western-style hospital in China. One hundred and twenty patients after radical hysterectomy were randomly allocated to two groups and started acupuncture from sixth postoperative day for five consecutive days.

Objective: To observe the acupuncture therapy effect on the urinary retention after radical: hysterectomy. METHODS METHODS: Eighty cases of urinary retention after radical hysterectomy were randomly assigned to: the treatment group and control group according to the random number table method, 40 cases in each group. From the 15th day post operation, the patients in the two groups started to be treated and 7 days as a course with 5 days treatment and 2 days interval.

Objective: To observe the effect of electroacupuncture on recovery of urinary bladder function after radical hysterectomy.

Methods: One hundred and ten cases were randomly divided into an electroacupuncture (EA) group and a control group, 55 cases in each group. In the control group, the urinary tube was placed and kept with routine method and the urinary bladder was rinsed, and from the eighth day the abdomen was radiated with TDP, 30 min each day, for 5 days.

Objective: To observe the clinical effect of gengnianningshentang on the treatment of the climacteric syndrome of fever due to yin-deficiency.

Methods: 108 patients with climacteric syndrome of fever due to yin-deficiency were divided randomly into treatment group (76 cases)and control group (32 cases). Treatment group was treated by gengnianningshentang, and control group was treated by Vitamin E for 3 months.

Objective: To evaluate the relationship between combined multigene detection and response to chemotherapy and prognosis in epithelial ovarian carcinomas (EOCS).

Methods: A total of 80 ovarian tissue samples taken from the surgical specimens of patients with EOCS of our hospital in the last two decades who had received chemotherapy after surgery were paraffin-embedded. The samples were divided into 2 groups, good prognosis group (patients who survived more than 2 years, n = 46) and poor prognosis group (patients who survived less than 2 years, n = 34).

Aim: To highlight the intestinal perforation (IP), an uncommon and catastrophic complication after combined liver-kidney transplantation.

Methods: Combined liver-kidney transplantation (LKTx) with left kidney excision and a cyst fenestration procedure on the right kidney were performed on a case of 46-year-old female with congenital polycystic disease (CPCD).

Results: Two sites of IP were noted 40-50 cm proximal to ileocecal area during emergent laparotomy 10 d postoperatively.

Objective: To investigate the detection rate and possible causes of acute coronary infarction (AMI) patients with roughly normal coronary arteriographic (CAG) findings.

Method: A retrospective analysis was conducted in 311 cases of AMI undergoing CAG examination.

Result: Of these 311 patients, 16 patients, whose age averaged 47.

Background & Objective: It has been showed that cellular DNA content and silver-staining nucleolar organizer region (AgNOR) count were significantly associated with the prognosis of some tumors; however, it is not yet clear whether these two parameters be helpful in predicting the prognosis of ovarian cystadenoma. This study was designed to evaluate the prognostic significance of these two parameters in ovarian cystadenoma.

Methods: Cellular DNA content and AgNOR count of the tumor cells for the samples from 42 patients with ovarian cystadenoma were measured by using computerized image analysis.
