- Both multilayered (ML) and few-layered (FL) TiCT nanosheets were created using an etching and delaminating method, revealing different terminal groups.
- Characterization showed that ML-TiCT has O-related groups while FL-TiCT has hydroxyl groups, affecting their physical and chemical properties.
- ML-TiCT exhibits stronger near-field enhancements, but when coupled with Ag nanoparticles, the FL-TiCT structure allows for better confinement of the near-field due to electron injection from hydroxyl terminations.
