Development of a sample preparation method for micro-proteomics analysis of the formaldehyde-fixed paraffin-embedded liver tissue samples.

Liver micro-proteomics based on the routinely used formaldehyde-fixed paraffin-embedded (FFPE) samples is valuable for innovative research, but the technical approach for sample preparation is often challenging. In this study, we aimed to develop a method for sample preparation for micro-proteomics on using the FFPE liver samples. We collected 2000 individual cells per batch from FFPE liver slices with laser capture microdissection and used them as test samples.
