Objective: Understanding HPV vaccination willingness and its influencing factors among female sex workers (FSWs) in entertainment venues in an urban area of Guangxi, China.
Methods: From 15 August to 15 October 2022, FSWs in entertainment venues with commercial sex trade in an urban area of Guangxi were selected as the study subjects for the questionnaire survey using the method of intentional sampling. The questionnaire based on the information-motivation-behavior (IMB) skills model was used to collect the basic characteristics, HPV and HPV vaccine-related information and cognition, motivation to vaccinate, behavioral skills and willingness to vaccinate from the research targets.
Background: is a food-borne disease, which is rarely prevalent in the normal population; it mostly occurs in pregnant women, newborns, immunodeficiency patients, and the elderly. The main manifestations of this disease in patients include sepsis, meningitis, , and the mortality rate remains high, although the onset of meningitis is relatively insidious.
Case Summary: A 75-year-old man presented with a fever for 1 wk and was admitted to the hospital for diagnosis and management of a lung infection.
We investigate the topological phase transition of the square-hexagon lattice driven by the next-nearest-neighbor (NNN) hopping. By means of the Fukui-Hatsugai method, the topological invariantcan be determined. The phase diagrams in the (,) plane for different filling fractions are displayed, together with the size of the bulk band gap.

The MMP-10 rs17435959 polymorphism causes a leucine to valine transition at codon 4 in exon 1 of the MMP-10 gene and may have functional effects.
Objectives: To investigate the relationship between the MMP-10 rs17435959 polymorphism and the formation and stability of CAS plaques.
The aryl hydrocarbon receptor (AhR) plays a pivotal role in regulating the innate and the acquired immune systems. The present study aimed to investigate the association of Crohn's disease (CD) with polymorphisms in a cohort of patients from Southeast China. An improved multiple ligase detection reaction technique was applied to examine the polymorphisms of rs2158041, rs2066853, and rs10249788 in 310 patients with CD and 573 controls.

Abnormalities of forkhead box P3 (FOXP3) are implicated in various autoimmune diseases. This study is aimed at investigating the association of ulcerative colitis (UC) with polymorphisms and its colonic expression in Chinese patients. Polymorphisms of rs3761548, rs2232365, rs2294021, and rs3761547 were examined in 472 UC patients and 525 healthy controls using the SNaPshot method.

Polymorphisms in FCGR2A have been shown to affect FcγRIIa/antibody interactions and have been potentially implicated in several autoimmune and inflammatory conditions. This study was designed to analyze the association between ulcerative colitis (UC) and FCGR2A polymorphisms in the Chinese population.

This strain was studied for its effectiveness as a biocontrol agent to reduce mulberry fruit sclerotiniose in the field and as a growth-promoting agent for mulberry in the greenhouse.

Methods: Serum levels of endocan and endoglin in 114 patients with LAA stroke and 114 age- and sex-matched controls were measured by ELISA.
In wireless communications, people utilize the technology of diversity against multipath fading, so as to improve the reliability of communication equipment. One of the long-standing problems in diversity antennas is the limited number of diversity in a certain space. In this paper, we provide a solution to this issue by a three-dimensional (3D) simultaneous arbitrary-way orbital angular momentum (OAM) generator (3D SAWOG) based on transformation optics.

When the sericin-1 gene promoter was cloned and a transgenic vector was constructed to express a foreign protein, a specific Helitron, Bmhel-8, was identified in the sericin-1 gene promoter sequence in some genotypes of Bombyx mori and Bombyx mandarina. Given that the Bmhel-8 Helitron transposon was present only in some genotypes, it could be the source of allelic variation in the sericin-1 promoter.
