In this study, we achieved significantly enhanced giant dielectric properties (EG-DPs) in Sc-Ta co-doped rutile-TiO (STTO) ceramics with a low loss tangent (tanδ ≈ 0.05) and high dielectric permittivity (ε' ≈ 2.4 × 10 at 1 kHz).

The enhanced dielectric permittivity (ε') while retaining a low loss tangent (tanδ) in silver nanoparticle-(InNb)TiO/poly(vinylidene fluoride) (Ag-INTO/PVDF) composites with different volume fractions of a filler () was investigated. The hybrid particles were fabricated by coating Ag nanoparticles onto the surface of INTO particles, as confirmed by X-ray diffraction. The ε' of the Ag-INTO/PVDF composites could be significantly enhanced to ~86 at 1 kHz with a low tanδ of ~0.

The effects of the sintering temperature on microstructures, electrical properties, and dielectric response of 1%Cr/Ta co-doped TiO (CrTTO) ceramics prepared using a solid-state reaction method were studied. The mean grain size increased with an increasing sintering temperature range of 1300-1500 °C. The dielectric permittivity of CrTTO ceramics sintered at 1300 °C was very low (ε' ∼198).

The Pristine Mayenite CaAlO (C12A7) Cement was simply synthesized by using solid-state reaction. The C12A7 and Graphene Oxide (GO) composites (C12A7_GO-x) with various contents of the GO suspension loading (x = 0 wt%, 1 wt%, 2 wt%, 3 wt%, and 4 wt%) were directly prepared by mixing the C12A7 and GO. X-ray diffraction results of pristine C12A7 and all C12A7_GO composites indicated a pure phase corresponding to the standard of C12A7 cement.
