Introduction: A chest radiograph (CXR), whether supine or upright, is the primary tool for assessing blunt thoracic and abdominal trauma. Background: The success rate of surgical treatment for rotator cuff (RC) tear ranges from 16% to 94%. The Rotator Cuff Healing Index (RoHI) is a system for predicting failure after RC repair and is based on a combined score of factors, including age, anteroposterior (AP) tear size, tendon retraction, fatty infiltration of the infraspinatus muscle, bone mineral density (BMD), and level of work activity.

Purpose: To determine the factors leading to RC repair failure in a Thai population, to test the reliability of the RoHI in this population, and to compare the RoHI with a modified RoHI (m-RoHI) based on the factors for repair failure as determined.
