Introduction: This study aims to develop co-amorphous Solid Dispersion (SD) system containing antimalarials Artesunate (ARS) and Amodiaquine (AMQ) to improve its oral bioavailability employing the Hot Melt Extrusion (HME) technique. Soluplus was selected as a polymeric excipient, whereas Lutrol F127, Lutrol F68, TPGS, and PEG400 as surfactants were incorporated along with Soluplus to enhance extrudability, improve hydrophilicity, and improve the blend viscosity during HME. Soluplus with surfactant combination successfully stabilizes both drugs during extrusion by generating SD because of its lower glass transition temperature (Tg) and viscoelastic behavior.

Introduction: The implementation of various approaches in hip arthroplasties introduces distinct advantages and complications. Notably, widely adopted methods such as the posterior approach have been linked to elevated rates of posterior hip dislocations and iatrogenic sciatic nerve injuries, while the lateral approach has been associated with superior gluteal nerve injuries. In this study, we propose a refined modification of the McFarland and Osborne approach, aiming to amalgamate the most favorable aspects of prior modifications of the lateral approach to the hip.

Exploring new strategies to design non-precious and efficient electrocatalysts can provide a solution for sluggish electrocatalytic kinetics and sustainable hydrogen energy. Transition metal selenides are potential contenders for bifunctional electrocatalysis owing to their unique layered structure, low band gap, and high intrinsic activities. However, insufficient access to active sites, lethargic water dissociation, and structural degradation of active materials during electrochemical reactions limit their activities, especially in alkaline media.

The Japanese encephalitis virus, (JEV), is a flavivirus mostly transmitted by Culex mosquitoes mostly present in Southeast Asia and the Western Pacific region. Ardeid-wading birds are the natural reservoir of JEV; nonetheless, pigs are frequently a key amplifying host during epidemics in human populations. Although more domestic animals and wildlife are JEV hosts, it is unclear how these animals fit into the ecology and epidemiology of the virus.

Oligospermia and asthenozoospermia, both frequent, can lead to male infertility. Oligospermia might be viewed as a milder form of azoospermia because the same mutations that produce azoospermia in some individuals also create oligospermia in other individuals. In this, we looked at different characteristics of oligospermia men, counting the level of apoptosis and a few related apoptotic and oxidative stress components, and compared them to solid controls.
