Objectives: To describe the workflow and value of three-dimensional rotational angiography (3DRA) in percutaneous pulmonary valve implantation (PPVI).
Background: 3DRA offers visualization of the entire topography in the chest and may enhance safety and reduce the risk for complications in PPVI through improved pre-procedural planning and per-procedural guidance.
Methods: All PPVI procedures with the use of 3DRA performed between August 2011 and December 2022 were reviewed.
Background: Gait can be continuously monitored via vertical ground reaction force (VGRF) and centre of pressure (COP) measurement with pressure-sensing insoles. During daily living, a variety of walking surfaces will be encountered, which could affect the collected data. These effects might need to be taken into account when analysing disease- or injury-related gait characteristics to prevent misinterpretation, especially when drawing conclusions from data obtained in clinical populations.

Therefore, lab-measured gait speed, step time, and step length during slow, preferred, and fast walking were assessed in 24 PwPD, 19 stroke patients, and 19 older adults and compared with 31 young adults. Only PwPD, but not the other groups, showed significantly reduced RGS compared to young adults, driven by step time in the low and step length in the high gait speed range.

The aim of the present study was to investigate the effects of DT on cognitive DT cost (DTC) (i) in a dataset including participants of different age groups, with different neurological disorders and chronic low-back pain (cLBP) (ii) at different levels of cognitive task complexity, and (iii) in the context of a setting relevant to daily life, such as combined straight walking and turning.
Materials And Methods: Ninety-one participants including healthy younger and older participants and patients with Parkinson's disease, Multiple Sclerosis, Stroke and cLBP performed a simple reaction time (SRT) task and three numerical Stroop tasks under the conditions congruent (StC), neutral (StN) and incongruent (StI).
Background: Orthostatic hypotension (OH) in Parkinson's disease (PD) is frequent and associated with impairments in quality of life and reduced activities of daily living. Abdominal binders (AB) and compression stockings (CS) have been shown to be effective non-pharmacological treatment options.
Objective: Here, we investigate the effect of AB versus CS on physical activity using a digital mobility outcome (sit to stand [STS] frequency) collected in the usual environment as a primary endpoint.
Gait changes during aging and differs between sexes. Inertial measurement units (IMUs) enable accurate quantitative evaluations of gait in ambulatory environments and in large populations.
