Aim: To evaluate and summarise the evidence for the management of older people with Type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) using 'Internet Plus nursing services (IPNS)'.

Design: This study was conducted as an evidence summary, adhering strictly to the evidence summary reporting standards established by Fudan University Center for Evidence-based Nursing.

Methods: We systematically searched for the best available evidence pertaining to the management of older people with T2DM using the IPNS.

Active polysaccharides from plants are broadly applied in the food and health industry. The purpose of this study is to identify a new plant active polysaccharide and to investigate its role in modulating spatial memory. Ultrasonics and DEAE-52 chromatography were used to separate and purify the plant active polysaccharide (PAP).

Intracellular bacteria can multiply inside host cells and manipulate their biology, and the efficacy of traditional antibiotic drug therapy for intracellular bacteria is limited by inadequate drug accumulation. Fighting against these stealthy bacteria has been a long-standing challenge. Here, a system of stimuli-responsive lactoferrin (Lf) nanoparticles is prepared using protein self-assembly technology to deliver broad-spectrum antibiotic rifampicin (Rif) (Rif@Lf NPs) for enhanced infection therapy through targeted elimination of intracellular bacteria.

Background: Previous studies revealed that Programmed cell death protein 1 (PD-1)/Programmed cell death-Ligand protein 1 (PD-L1) inhibitors plus anti-angiogenic agents had extensive anti-tumor activities. However, almost all studies on the efficacy and safety of PD-1/PD-L1 inhibitors plus anti-angiogenic agents as second or later-line treatment for patients with advanced non-small cell lung cancer are non-randomized controlled trials with small sample sizes, which might lead to a lack of effective metrics to assess the effectiveness and safety of the therapeutic regimen. Here, this meta-analysis aimed to evaluate the efficacy and safety of PD-1/PD-L1 inhibitors plus anti-angiogenic agents as second or later-line treatment for patients with advanced non-small cell lung cancer.

In spp., the biosynthesis of the yellow pigment xanthomonadin and fatty acids originates in the type II polyketide synthase (PKS II) and fatty acid synthase (FAS) pathways, respectively. The acyl carrier protein (ACP) is the central component of PKS II and FAS and requires posttranslational phosphopantetheinylation to initiate these pathways.
