This study investigates the correlation between dietary sialic acid intake which mainly come from eggs, red meat, and dairy products and serum HbA1c levels. A survey among Xiamen's general population, China, collected dietary data from 2,908 participants over the past year. A semi-quantitative food frequency questionnaire (FFQ) was employed.
