Purpose: To evaluate the impact of momentary intervention on the willingness and actual uptake of influenza vaccination among the elderly in China.

Methods: A cross-sectional study assessed the willingness of the elderly to receive influenza vaccination, and an momentary intervention aimed to increase vaccination willingness among those initially unwilling.
