The healing of bacteria-infected wounds has long posed a significant clinical challenge. Traditional hydrogel wound dressings often lack self-healing properties and effective antibacterial characteristics, making wound healing difficult. In this study, a bioactive small molecule cross-linking agent 4-FPBA/Lys/4-FPBA (FLF) composed of 4-formylphenylboronic acid (4-FPBA) and lysine (Lys) was utilized to cross-link guar gum (GG) and a tannic acid/iron (TA/Fe) chelate through multiple dynamic bonds, leading to the formation of a novel self-healing hydrogel dressing GG-FLF/TA/Fe.

Traditional treatments often result in significant trauma and unpredictable outcomes. Recent advances in bone/cartilage tissue engineering, particularly in scaffold materials and fabrication technologies, offer promising solutions for osteochondral regeneration.

Herein, this study proposed a pH-responsive polysaccharide hydrogel dressing (CG-HA) composed of cationic guar gum (CG) and hyaluronic acid (HA). Additionally, Zn and ferulic acid (FA)/β-cyclodextrin (β-CD) inclusion complexes (FA/β-CD) were co-introduced into the CG-HA hydrogel to form the desired FA/β-CD@CG-HA-Zn hydrogel.

The hygrothermal aging model, based on Fick's second law of diffusion, characterizes the degradation of engineering constants in T700 carbon fiber/epoxy resin composites. It focuses on changes in the tensile modulus, shear modulus, and transverse Poisson's ratio due to moisture absorption and temperature variations. The model validates through mass change observations before and after seawater immersion, along with surface morphology assessments and tensile experiments.

The muscles were chosen and divided into tender and tough groups ( = 9), and then stored at 4 °C for 1 h, 12 h, 1 d, 3 d, and 5 d postmortem. Shear force, pH, myofibril fragmentation index, AMPK activity, E3 ubiquitin ligase abundance, protein phosphorylation, and the ubiquitination levels of muscle samples were measured.

Nevertheless, the investigation of the fundamental mechanisms underlying activity enhancement has primarily focused on metal oxides as supports, especially in the catalytic degradation of volatile organic compounds. In this study, a novel Pt catalyst supported on nitrogen-doped carbon encapsulating FeNi alloy, featuring ultrafine Pt nanoparticles, was synthesized.

We analyzed the microscopic characteristics of shield muck curing products by using the electron microscopy, revealing the impact of metal ion complex on curing. Results showed that the metal ion complex significantly reduces the surface zeta potential of shield muck and conventional curing materials, with cement showing the most substantial effect, followed by shield muck, calcium carbonate, and calcium sulfate.
