Motile cilia and flagella are evolutionarily conserved organelles, and their defects cause primary ciliary dyskinesia (PCD), a disorder characterized by systemic organ dysfunction. The nexin-dynein regulatory complex (N-DRC) is a crucial structural component of motile cilia and flagella, present across various species from Chlamydomonas to humans. Defects in N-DRC components lead to multiple PCD symptoms, including sinusitis and male infertility.

Factors associated with outcomes of chimeric antigen receptor (CAR)-T cell therapy in patients with relapsed or refractory (R/R) diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL) have not been fully elucidated. We explored the impact of the prelymphodepletion (pre-LD) lymphocyte to monocyte ratio (LMR) and its ratio to lactate dehydrogenase (LDH) (LMR/LDH) on the efficacy and prognosis of 60 patients with R/R DLBCL undergoing CAR-T cell therapy. The optimal cutoff values for pre-LD LMR and LMR/LDH were 3.

The "p53-like" superfamily transcription factor, VIB-1, plays a crucial role in mediating heterokaryon incompatibility and regulating the transcription of specific genes involved in the secretion of extracellular hydrolases in Neurospora crassa. However, the precise mechanism underlying the transcriptional regulatory function of VIB-1 is still poorly understood. Here, we reveal that VIB-1 is involved in the H2O2-induced oxidative stress response, in which deletion of vib-1 leads to an H2O2-sensitive phenotype and inhibition of cat-3 expression.

Landfilling after chelation is the primary method for treating municipal solid waste incineration fly ash (MSWI FA), but the long-term environmental risks of its heavy metals (HMs) remain unclear. This study used three common organic chelating agents (CAs) to stabilize MSWI FA and assessed its 300-day stability under mixed and zoned landfill scenarios. The findings showed that Pb leaching posed high environmental risks, especially in zoned landfills, with 10-year cumulative leaching of 300 mg/kg, while Cu and Zn leaching remained within limits, indicating lower environmental risks.
